I've played a lot of resistance lately, and they've all included a light poe and a light cova. They're consistently good across all the games I've played, against any matchup. I've experimented with other parts of the squad, but I can't seem to find a consistent performer. Here's some of the lists I've tried (flown with the poe/cova builds above)

Rey: she mostly just soaked damage, occasionally blocking I6s and and drawing fire. I don't know how I feel about her, but she definitely stays on the board for a while

Tallie+lulo: No punch, too fragile. They were basically just ignored in the games I played with them. Not optimistic about using them

Bastian+rose pod.

I've flown this in fly casual, so I can't say a lot, but they seem okay for what they do. I'll need to use them irl for a real conclusion tho.

What do you think?

Poe doesn't REALLY need R4, honestly. Yeah sure it helps but R2 can be considered better.

If you want, you can fit a Red Squadron Ace and Rose in there.

How are you using tactical officer? I can see how you can use it sometimes but there will be times Poe will be stressed and you can't coordinate him.

If you are using Tallie and Lulo what did you drop to get them in? If you drop officer and swap elusive for heroic the you could do this:

Poe Dameron (68)
Heroic (1)
R4 Astromech (2)
Integrated S-Foils (0)

Ship total: 71 Half Points: 36 Threshold: 4

Cova Nell (38)
Heroic (1)
Pattern Analyzer (5)
R4 Astromech (2)

Ship total: 46 Half Points: 23 Threshold: 4

Greer Sonnel (36)
Heroic (1)
Advanced Optics (4)

Ship total: 41 Half Points: 21 Threshold: 2

Tallissan Lintra (36)
Heroic (1)
Advanced Optics (4)

Ship total: 41 Half Points: 21 Threshold: 2

Total: 199

The As are fragile but they have speed and versatility to them, just start flying away and shooting out the back.

If you are looking for heavy hitters then Bastian and Rose might be the way to go. If you drop some stuff could use Finn instead of Rose.

I use tactical officer on poe, mainly to boost or barrel roll him before he moves, or to link an action off the coordinate, then do a red move to clear the stress and get a third action if needed. However, I don't use it very often, and it's often the first thing I drop if I need points. Your list is making me reconsider A-wing tho..

Cova Nell (38)
Heroic (1)
Pattern Analyzer (5)
R4 Astromech (2)

Poe Dameron (68)
Heroic (1)
R4 Astromech (2)
Integrated S-Foils (0)

Rey (73)
Sense (5)
Rey’s Millennium Falcon (5)
Total: 200

Sense on Rey helps Poe stay alive also. Sensing a ship and having Cova coordinate a boost to rey or poe can be sneaky good.

This doesnt seem bad either:

Cova Nell (38)
Heroic (1)
Pattern Analyzer (5)
R4 Astromech (2)

Poe Dameron (68)
Heroic (1)
R4 Astromech (2)
Integrated S-Foils (0)

Rose Tico (26)
Heroic (1)

Jessika Pava (51)
Integrated S-Foils (0)
Pattern Analyzer (5)
Total: 200

I like the rey build a lot! Sense could have really helped me a few times when I was using her!

I like all of these. Especially the Rey one.

If you are just using Cova to coordinate, why not go with Nodin instead?

Because coordinate is a secondary option, her main role is a toolbox damage dealer with incredible time on target.

I really like procket Tallie alongside Cova and Poe, friend of mine won a HST with that list
