I have been completely unable to stir up any interest in myself for the Hyperspace Trials, unlike Regionals. Regionals, at least out here in Evergreen country, were pretty **** big events - like +/-150 people - so tons of variety in lists and player skill levels. There was always something new to play against down at the bottom tables for us scrubs. Whereas with the laser focus on getting your World's ticket virtually guarantees that you will face roughly the same list over and over at any given HST, no matter how well or poorly you play. And it's also the same twenty or so tournament superstars every time, even if they already have three or four HST trophies each. For a dedicated scrub, there's no ******* draw at all. Except that the swag for smaller events is so much less appealing, and the local scene is collapsing. It's rough.

There was a CT Hyperspace with an attendance of 5.
And I heard the fifth dropped.
