If you are just going to get the clone wars core set for now, around how much points should each faction take?

plz recommend a roughly equally powered deck for both factions.

Normally the game is played to 800 points. If you're playing with a single core set, I've found that building to 450 or so points is the balance point, so that both sides can use all their units and they don't have to be completely naked.

EDIT: The mostly core set only lists I use for demos (Have to swap out Improvised Orders for something if you just have the CW core set, as it comes separately)
