Been working on a variation of Andrew's famous hatchet man list.

As you can see it trades Vader and Palp for 2 Inquisitors. The Inquisitors give you the ability to knife fight while Vynder does his boom and zoom. I like this variation because it does really well versus sinker swarm (he's been a local favorite and it can kill sinker in one turn from range 3 quite often because the 3 point bid allows you to move everything after sinker so all guns on target). The list is surprisingly tanky with all ship (minus the shuttle) being 3 agility (Vynder most of the time) with multiple shields and good repositioning. Versus aces you'll definitely have to keep the arcs as wide as possible. Shouldn't be too hard when the Inquisitors get to the center of the board and start spiraling with blue 1 turns and banks.

@AegisAngel , i actually built this list before too. Its a variant of another list i built.

Not sure how well it'll do. The obvious target #1 for you opponent is Vynder. But can they catch him? And if they pursue Vynder, those Qs will pounce and knifefight with Jendon supporting.

It has potential to try out. Hard part is facing Vulture swarms amd high-Init Aces.

Nice concept. Very Reese's Peanut Butter Cup -- two great tastes that go great together.

One thing worth considering: swapping Proton Torpedoes for Diamond Boron Missiles. DBM are almost a 4-dice attack (with great anti-swarm potential), and it'd free up another 7 points. With the 3 bid, that'd bring things up to 10. Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of great things to add.

  • One Inquisitor could be swapped for Seventh Sister, bumping up the Initiative a little.
  • 11 would get Palpatine, which would be quite nice, but that seems really hard to afford--there's not much left to cut. One Concussion Missile for a Homing is about the only thing, but I don't really love the idea.
  • Going for Director Krennic might be nice, for Jendon to get a long-range lock for himself, as well as to put Optimized Prototype on an Inquisitor, as a backup if they're out of missiles, or if you've split your locks to get a backup target.
  • Maybe tossing a copy of Sense into the list would be nice. It's fairly low initiative, so being able to proactively reposition or block with your ships could be handy. Vynder SLAMs into a Reload into a Block, to set up for later, stuff like that.

It's all pretty low-value stuff, but just something to keep in mind. Proton Torpedoes are a solid, tried-and-true upgrade, but it's always nice to know how cuts could be made.
