With the 3 articles that have been published concerning each of the Huge Ships, does someone knows what is the planned release date for the huge ship conversion kit and the epic battles pack ?

I don't know the official street date, but there is an Organized Play Epic Side Events at Worlds (Oct. 16th - 20th), so I would expect it to be before that so people can make and bring lists unless they just plan on expecting people to show up with their entire collections and try to put together effective lists on the spot and figure out wings and costing, which seems unlikely, although possible.

That is why I am asking the question. Worlds are in 2 weeks, and if FFG wants to release these before the Worlds, they still have 2 fridays: tomorrow, and october 11th.

Yep, I’m hoping we get some news and it’s not a “hey we have conversion kits on early sale here at worlds, now build a squad and go!”

I don't think Worlds is a good indicator of when it will go on sale or not. Maybe pre-sale to the people at Worlds, but that doesn't matter to me.

Matters to me, because I will be there and I don’t want to be torn between my LGS loyalty and giving them money and being able to participate in the event.

Isn't that what they did with the regular second edition conversion kits at GenCon 2018?

Didn’t they just have a quick build event? I wasn’t there so I have no idea.

They had a quick build event. We got a new Core Set as part of the cost of the tournament. Did a quick build and played. I hope they don't do that with Huge Ships for Worlds, not that I'm going but still.

If we don't get a release notice today then I'll bet they don't release before Worlds. Worlds will just have some ships there for players to use maybe?

"Epic battles" includes any of the new scenarios, not just 450 point matches, and is separate from huge ships. They could just assign scenarios to use.

With the rules reference updated and epic battles rules released, do you think that the epic Battles and the Huge ship conversion kit will arrive ths week in our LGS ?

I got my “pre-shipment” email from FFG for me to confirm my order. My guess is Nov 8. However, I wouldn’t be shocked if I got a “shipped” notice today or tomorrow for a Nov 1 release.
