:( nope. Only 1 per turn, single pip:

My bad, that's what I get for just glancing over it. That keeps it pretty even, since it will be unlikely that you would ever have opportunity to regen more than the 2 shield limit of a Corsair refit

They will release all the currently made epic ships then move on to the others

I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it this way, but just curious: have they announced this at all?

In one of the epic livestreams.

Curious about the C-ROC's dial, given its ship ability. I feel like the Broken Horn might be a hidden gem.

Dial is shown in first picture.

*Edit so basically 3 blue straight, 3 white bank, 4 and 5 white straight. with broken horn. Not bad for a huge ship.

Oh, shoot, I hadn’t actually checked... Broken Horn is really good. 3 banks and 4/5 straight are all white instead of red, and 3 straight becomes blue? I do feel like it’ll be better for bigger game areas, but especially with the ship ability that opens up the dial a lot.

Downside of not seeing the upgrade bar anymore, can't tell how hilarious Saboteur's Map is going to be. Looks like a fun ship. Somewhat tempted to pick up a second one.

Yeah I was building around merchant one but suddenly broken horn looks solid too!

I am very happy with this news and eagerly await my conversion kit to bring this back to the table. Really like all the new illicits (though I think the least useful/cheapest one should be the baffler).

Thinking the trick to this is keep it light and cheap. Maybe a single bonus attack. Hopefully it’s priced not too much more than a standard large ship chassis.

These things should really be tournament legal. I don't think anybody would be cross about the idea of huge ships appearing in tournaments.

So...

swz55_scanner-baffler_card.png + Boba Fett Crew.

Ok, let the instant FAQ and card rewording commence. :)

*Not totally broken, but still.

** Oh wait, @BrotherFett said it first, while I was busy trying and failing to copy Boba Fett crew picture into my post. hehe.

Until they got broadsided by a point defense battery...

I'd want them out in the wild for a bit before we bring them into the existing formats (But still think they could be fine there). But Epic Tournaments should definitely be a thing.

I know there is an Epic side event at Worlds, but now Huge ships are separated from Epic its not really the same thing. If there is an uptick in attendance for side events that include huge ships, scenario/cinematic play, we may see X-Wing OP react and start running official events with prize support.

I admit, the return of huge ships and epic wings and scenarios, environments, etc. are about the only reason I'm coming back to X-Wing after my extended vacation from it.

While the 2.0 rereleases for huge ships include ship cards for the other factions, they are still primarily Rebel/Imperial/Scum ships. Plus, they’re following the example set by small ship rereleases: these are for converting your 1e stuff first and foremost, not adding new stuff.

That we have the option of playing even generic huge ships in the other 4 factions so far is really great, and no doubt FFG has faction-specific huge ships for all of them lined up in the future.

Thank you and much appreciated for taking the time to answer and explain, this set is a pass for me then as we only really play Clone Wars for second edition, so I'll hold out hope for a Separatist specific release down the road. Cool that they through one ship card in for them but it's not enough to invest in for me.

I am beginning to suspect a card pack for these factions has to be in the works.

Card pack or.......campaign pack?????

Also gains 2 hull, so the hp is the same.

I agree that the replacement of 1 Shield a round does make Shields superior to Hull. It is nice to at least get Hull, though.

Insatiable Wortt can get you the double shield recharge per turn. But if you take that with Corsair Refit you are down to 1 shield, so the double shield doesn't help.

In the long run double energy per turn might be the best deal though.

Ok, now that I have read this card correctly, it sounds hilarious!

Azmorigan also seems to be best suited in a double C-Roc combo? (One keeps an evade token from Merchant One and the other keeps a calculate token from whatever upgrade?) This is pure speculation, however, depending on the point cost. In V1, having more than one huge ship was rather detrimental in our Epic Meta.

Yup, and throw in Tobias Beckett for more shenanigans.

Added the cards spoiled in Outside the Law to Infinite Arenas .

Remember that Evade changes a die result. If the CROC doesn't get a die, that token does nothing.

Okay, Squeee!!!! moment... :D

Krayt's Honor!!!!!!!!!! ( https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Krayt's_Honor )

swz55_syndicate-smugglers_card.png + swz55_corsair-refit_card.png + swz53_turbolaser-battery_card.png + Dorsal Turret And maybe add swz55_broken-horn_card.png Just for fun. :D

Instead of the Broken Horn, how about Merchant One? Gives you an extra Turret upgrade slot, and a free attack with it.

A Merchant One Corsair with a Turbolaser, Ion and Dorsal turrets sounds fantastically brutal.

Alternately, an Insatiable Wort Corsair with Ion, Dorsal and Point Defense for six attacks per round at range 1-2?

I do agree the Ion weaponry for the CROC will be potent.

Merchant One is definitely an option though with only 2 shields having a damage card early on is very likely making the stress mitigation from Broken Horn allot nicer (the 5 straight stressless ram Broken Horn enables is also nice). Insatiable Wort also makes for a nice pocketwarship build but Krayt's Honor specifically carried Turbolasers in addition to its lighter armament and IW blocks that even with Corsair Refit applied due to the build not having 5 energy.

Yeah, but the C-Roc gets an automated die if he does a speed 3 manoeuver. Now add that he gets another die at range 3 or 2 at range 4 (if I remember correctly from the dev video), and it at least gives it a fighting chance of closing the distance to a Raider. 3 Defense die + an evade + a reinforce and these guys can tank some long range fire if need be.
