C-ROC Preview!

Scanner Baffler's art is HILARIOUS.

Azmorigan looks a lot more respectable in the new art. Liking the illicits but it's kind of sad they're huge-ship only :(

Curious about the C-ROC's dial, given its ship ability. I feel like the Broken Horn might be a hidden gem.

Like the Tantive IV preview it has no Separatist cards.

Maybe in a separate preview or they would make the alternate faction a separate product?

Same deal with CR90, we already know the full spread of cards earlier.

Is there a preview or spoiler for the Separatist cards somewhere? Honestly that would be the only reason I would pick one up is for some Sep cards. Because even reading the full spread of cards we have seen all three titles and they are all Scum only. Seems like the only Separatist thing is the ship card.

Saboteur's Map is giving me flashbacks of 1e. Granted its not as bad as 1e upgrade. But i just wish you can shoot mines, like you can with DRK-1 Probe droids.

12 Hull and 4 Shields. Recovers only 1 Shield per end phase (vs two on the dedicated militaries like Raider and CR90).

So wonder what they are going to cost, cause 12/4 at 0 agi with 1 shield regained is not that much more than YV666 with 9/3 at 1 agi.

Wonder if that one

While the 2.0 rereleases for huge ships include ship cards for the other factions, they are still primarily Rebel/Imperial/Scum ships. Plus, they’re following the example set by small ship rereleases: these are for converting your 1e stuff first and foremost, not adding new stuff.

That we have the option of playing even generic huge ships in the other 4 factions so far is really great, and no doubt FFG has faction-specific huge ships for all of them lined up in the future.

There are zero titles, crew, or other upgrades at the moment for any of the Huge ships for Republic, CIS, Resistance, or First Order. I can only assume that something is coming down the pipe that will have these upgrades. I don't see how they would not.

Also, I don't see the lack of these to NOT get this. One, I think they WILL come out eventually. Two, many upgrades won't be used for your list. Three, if it's a friendly game, just use the Scum ones!!!

This is the rerelease of the C-ROC itself, not the Conversion Kit.

Go to the each epic ships product page, it lists all the cards in their respective packs. Yes, the only Seperatist card is the pilot card.

One thing I noticed is the Energy. People before wanted to use the Turbo Laser for C-ROC or Gozanti, but we found out it has an energy requirement of 5. The Corsair Refit would give you that!

I do like the feel if each of the Epic ships. I think they are more different than 1st Ed, and thathat is good. The ability to roll an extra die is pretty cool for a ship that needs defense. Make sure to take Perceptive Copilot!!!

Saboteur's Map is quite good! I like it. Make sure to look at the MINE category. You can't drop an Electro-Proton Bomb just past their deployment!!!! :D It will help in some scenarios.

I guessed Tibanna Reserves right that it was charges! I figured it had to be. I like it and think (once again) that it will be a must have for most Huge ships. I like that it requires an Action, though.

Though Corsair Refits with Point Defense Batteries also looks nice. :D

I think the idea is to have the already existing ships be usable across factions, but the titles and other iconic cards will stick with the faction the ship is most associated with. Then the other 4 factions will (hopefully) get their own dedicated huge ships.

Republic is the easiest with the Consular Class Cruiser or possibly a Hammerhead (though that is likely better as another rebel ship) and maybe one of the Nubian royal yachts.

The others are a little more difficult. Maybe the designers are holding out hope for something a little less absurdly huge in episode 9? As it stands, even the free virgilia class (most likely candidate right now for a sequel trilogy huge ship) is twice the length of a CR90. I really have no idea what the separatists or first order could bring to the table for huge ships that aren’t REALLY huge.

I am beginning to suspect a card pack for these factions has to be in the works.

Putting crew Boba on this will be hilarious and fun. Maybe not the smartest, but hilarious.

Right, but in the same way that 2.0 ship rereleases don’t have new content that isn’t in the conversion kits, the rereleased Epic ships are primarily intended to get 2.0 up to speed on where 1e was with Huge Ships. Once they rerelease everything, then we’ll start seeing really new content.

A thought, actually: I can’t recall if they’ve announced the rerelease for the smaller Rebel/Imp Huge ships? Will they start releasing hue ships for the new factions once the OG factions only have one each?

Well, when you consider being able to regen 2 shields every turn, it could be less if there goes a turn where you are not taking fire, so there is a corner case of having less effective HP. And crit negation of shields, of course.

They will release all the currently made epic ships then move on to the others

At least baseline that is, not sure about upgrades that change it. Corsair Refit doesn't.
