Does anyone have any recommendations for X-wing storage? I'm looking for a one-stop-shop to store all of my cards, tokens, dials, range rulers, templates, obstacles, etc. I display my miniatures, so storing them isn't necessary. Is there a specific brand that specializes in storage or a random toolbox that is ideal for repurposing? Thanks for your input.

The best value for your dollar. $12 gets you a 2-pack. They stack and lock together so you can keep adding more as your expansion grows. You’ll probably want a separate binder or card-box to store your cards in though.

Depends on how many you want to take with you. There are a number of Plano trays that could hold your stuff.

I just use large lidded card storage boxes. I leave the dividers in areas I keep cards or small based ships and remove them for double-wide aisles for larger ships. These ships are light and durable. Having come to XW from games with metal self-painted figures, foam packing XW ships seems silly.

Toolboxes and Plano boxes are generally your best bet, but bear in mind that a few odd ships don’t fit well in much of anything. Personally I have found that the Ghost, YV-666 and Resistance Bomber tend to be the trickiest to store in something portable enough for easy transport.

I use a Plano 3952 for storing and transporting to game night. It’s double sided, so I take my two primary factions with me (Republic and Resistance), and tokens, dice and all the other miscellaneous bits and bobs fit in the small plastic compartments above each side (hard to explain, but google should make it apparent). Cards go in a card binder. My resistance bomber stays at home or just gets hand carried if I think I will want to run Vennie and some A-Wings or something.

I also have a pretty substantial set of black and decker interlocking modular toolboxes that are kind of hard to find online anymore. That holds all my Armada stuff, and a couple of them are “cold storage/dry dock” for my unused X-Wing factions (Separatists, Rebels, Scum, and the assorted imperial ships I have picked up).

I have a fairly large collection, and have 3 people playing out of that collection on a regular basis. Ships are stored in Sir Willi's tuck boxes in Plano 3700 style storage boxes by faction and then one deep Plano 3700 box for the bigger ships. Cards and maneuver dials are stored in binders, pilots and maneuver dials in binders by faction and then upgrades take up two binders. Each player has 2 plano style boxes. A medium sized one that has all of the tokens needed for playing and dice, and a large one where you have bases, pegs, maneuver templates, obstacles, damage deck, and then space to store the squads you are taking that night. There is room to have 4 or so squads. Then there is one more 3700 style plano box that has extra tokens, tokens you don't use much like delayed fuses and condition tokens, device tokens, etc.

So for game night, we pull our desired squads and put them in our individual large box. Then we take our two individual boxes and the box with the extra tokens and stuff to the game store. We have 2 plano 3700 weekender bags ( Amazon Link ) available to carry stuff, usually we can fit into one of them for 3 players.
