I was thinking about some builds based on this thread https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/300501-engaging-t1/
So I thought with the upcoming rebel trooper expansion pack with offensive fire coming in what could you do with the lists.
So the idea is this. If you get a deployment where you are going to be able to get turn one combat easily you will
1/ deploy the Rebel Veterans and Bistan with Recon Intel allowing them both to trigger Offensive Push and starting the game with aim tokens. Turn one you would use sabotaged communications to get an order on Bistan and use HQ uplink on veterans to get orders on Bistan , the Veterans and the Mk2 blasters , allowing the vets to start with dodges. You can then turn 1 shoot and recover, recovering Bistan, the HQ uplinks and offensive push.
2/ so now on turn 2 (or turn 1 if you arent close enough for combat) play no time for sorrows and use that to move Bistan, the Rebel Veterans and the 2 Mk2s (leaving an order for one of the Tauntauns) to give another three aims for your veterans ,and Bistan, and 3 dodges on the veterans and a Tauntaun, and face up order tokens o your Mk2 Blasters for Fire support.
If you drop the heavies from the Rebel Veterans you can drop the Rebel troopers for better order control for Leia, 3 Rebel Veterans 3 Mk2 blasters, 2 Tauntauns and a 1.4 turret which is great for a replacement for a mk2 once your opponent starts taking them off the table and is excellent for using with fire support itself. With all the aim tokens running around it does make your attacks a lot more meaningful.
