I am not aware of any gaming groups, but you might want to check with The Gaming Pit. The used to have tournaments.

Im not sure that the gameing pit is still in business, have tried the number from google several times over the last month. Went by the shop too, still had posters in the window and tables out... but closed during their posted hours.
