Has anyone heard if there are any plans to release extra copies of the huge ship maneuver tools as a standalone product? I can't seem to find any information on the topic.

Nope, just the ship expansions and the conversion kit. It needs the new base to work properly too, the tool alone would be of no use to you.

Some folks like me will likely end up with extras over time, if not straight away from the release. Probably pick one up easy from the local groups or auction sites.
