Wood Giant & Forest Lair

By awayputurwpn, in Battlelore

So the Wood Giant comes with the Forest Lair Landmark.

How is this Landmark tile different from Wooded Terrain tile, other than looks?

Just wondering if I'm missing something...but the Wood Giant ignores all combat & movement restrictions on both hex tiles, and can throw logs from both tiles. Other units treat both hex tiles as Wooded Terrain for all purposes. Both tiles block line of sight.

Is it just that you get to place another wooded terrain hex on the board at a location of (mostly) your choosing? Or am I missing something?

I haven't purchased Creatures (yet - for <$25 I will be getting the Hydra and an extra Hill Giant and Earth Elemental soon :) ), but is the Forest Giant Lair treated as a landmark hex, like the other lairs are - units moving onto it must stop, cannot battle when moving onto, etc.? Or does it explicitly state that the only restrictions other units have are those that a normal forest hex is granted? If so, y, sounds like just another forest hex to be placed. If not, then subtle, but tactical differences provided. A good thing for the Giant, either way :)

The Forest Lair is placed before the adventure as a Lore Master Landmark but other units just treat it like another forest hex. So basically it is only an extra forest hex that you can somewhat strategically place.
