Well, apparently I can't write about my opinion regarding that statement because it worth a warning from FFG...

If you can't make an argument without being insulting, derogotory, overall rude and debasing, and so on, your argument isn't that great in the first place.

So, perhaps FFG did us a favor.

Me, freshly out of forum jail:

Wanna go rob a liquor store?

Eh, not necessarily true.

I've been banned 2 or 3 times now for "inappropriate language" and "abusive behavior" it doesn't invalidate the points I was making. Just highlights my poor choice in approach.

I've made a number of "Star Wars fans are the worst" posts when uppity fans started whining about TLJ. They're usually a mix of rational discussion and outright bebasing taunts...

It was none of those.

My apologies.

TLJ made over four billion dollars.

Don't be this daffy.

Not trying to get into if it was good or not, but TLJ did not make more than four billion dollars. Box office gross was $1.3 billion, before subtracting production and marketing costs. I would at least like to see the correct numbers being used while I sit back and enjoy these debates.

Cripes I wish I had my old rig. This'd be much easier to research.

Alright. 1.3 worldwide. I can't find the remaining numbers, but the Blu-Ray sales matter as well, and they were ridiculously high.

This is very true.

The point still stands, it made killer sales, both in the box office and home media....

I think there's a very vocal section of the Star Wars community that tirelessly spills vitriol when TLJ is mentioned because they want the movie to seem like a failure, likely because it conflicts with their world view in some form or another. It seems to be the case, too, that the accessibility of internet warps the perception of what the overall reception of this movie was. The internet allows people the opportunity to amass despite physical restrictions based on the subject matter. So where the online perception of the movie is seen as bad, because of the inherent nature of the internet, the sales and overall reception don't necessarily reflect that.

I often make the joke that I'm happy all these people hate TLJ, it means more room for me at the theater for EP IX, but realistically only a very very very minor fraction of the fanbase was that upset. 10/10 I guarantee Rise of the Skywalker is just as packed as the last 5 times I saw TLJ in theaters.

Box office is not everything...

(is that still within the rules?!)

Back on topic.

I would love FFG to add this ship to the Empire opposite a Dornean Gunship flotilla expansion for the rebels and/or, the Assault Frigate Mk 1 opposite ECHenry's Incursor SD design. But then I'd also like to see a Rebel small ship collectors set with many of ECHenry's other designs (Rebel Tug [flotilla], Rebel Tanker [flotilla], etc.) as the Rebel's "SSD" release (good games do go for parity in releases). Although, being a collector more than a competitive player I do have some bias towards blurry canonical ships whose true shape is debatable just from the Pokemon angle.

More than both of these though, I still want a squadrons 3 expansion. My Profundity needs U-Wings, needs them I tell you (also the Raid mechanic is a great one which could be well served by being more wide-spread in the game).

That's my ha'penny's worth.

P.S. Would be cool if FFG made a stealth-release tomorrow for Force Friday! (Not holding my breath though.)

FFG makes good money by keeping in Disney’s good books, can’t upset the mouse

@melminiatures

Sorry to tag you in this. However if you were to make this could you be persuaded to also do a 1/7000 scale version as well?

This man does the Lord’s work. Haha

I quite like this design.

Conversely, I always wondered what other Imperial ships would look like once the Rebels got a hold of them. And stripped out all the non-essential parts to make maintenance easier and optimize them for combat purposes. Would a barebones Gladiator even be recognizable? Or would it just be a few torpedo tubes sitting on a giant engine?
