Ive been having fun flying variations on this list. The 2 Nantex each pair up with 1 of the other ships and help manoeuvre them into the positions they need to be (grevious out of arcs and 404 into range 1).
404 tends to trade fairly early, but that’s kind of the point. When things go perfect he rolls a ton of dice at a target locked opponent which is also down an agility due to being tractored. Munitions Failsafe is on there because I’ve also blanked that roll far to after and it sucks.
Grevious does grevious things, probably my favourite pilot in the faction. This loadout for him has never been bad for me. I know some people like to put Impervium Plating on aswell but I can’t really see this adding a whole lot of value.
The Nantex ships are a bit of a wild card. I haven’t tried Sun Fac but I can’t bring myself to fly a 4 Hull ship for around 80pts. Also the value added by having 2 ships throwing tractors is pretty cool I think. Chertek is just a nice to have option, could easily be another Petranaki Arena Ace. Treacherous is an odd choice at the minute, I’m basically trying to add a little more survivability and also see if I can stack tractors on strains for -2 agility on the enemy ships. Tried this list with predator and juke in, both worked ok but not outstandingly well.
What do you guys think? Any advice?
