I am surprised no one though of the double d list.

"Chewicide Squad" contains Resistance Chewie with Deadman Switch (he can boost and shoot THEN do another damage after being destroyed)
Edited by matt.sucharskiAnd I'm surprised no one's mentioned good old "Biggs walks the dogs". I always found that squad name amusing.
I saw a list with 4 shuttles. "Dance of the white rhinos"

I was running "Double D's" for the 1st couple months of 2.0... I may have been too embarrassed to mention it.

Since we're going for the dodgy names... 😁 After getting a Corran Horn alt-art in 1.0, I experimented with the Rage EPT on him. "The Raging Horn."

I built a similar squad on a whim one day - never played it.
I've been referring to Delta/Delta/OGP(Palp) as PDA - Palp Defenders Again. Commonwealth Aces doesn't really seem as apt, now that we're dealing with min generics.
The newer Heavy Laser Cannon variant? Heavy Petting.
Way back when, I used to fly a B's and Z's list called Tala-Dagger Knights.
Amidala Knights: The Ballad of Ricky Olié
This is the name of my two Jedi plus Ric list.

I propose we call the Sun Fac + 6 grappling strut vultures,
Six Fac. (Preferably as a cold one with the boys)
I recently made a list with 2 Belbullabs and Darth Maul.
Gotta Catch ‘em Maul.

How do you like that build? I had been running a similar build except i swapped out Advanced Sensors and Outmaneuver for HLC, juke and Collision detector for 197 points.
My own contribution: "Padme Galore's Flying Circus".

It's good, but it's hard in a meta featuring many ships, a proliferation of alt arcs and I6s. That wasn't quite as much of an issue, back when I was running it, 3/4 ships and I5 was the most common thing. It has great game against that. There's room to drag the enemy around and split their fire while keeping relatively safe, so at least 1 of the 2 is smashing things to bits. Then they become unconquerable and you can be gloriously aggressive.
There's a huge balance to be struck between using AS to be in uncounterable spots and not using it to make sure your shots count though. It's a really tricky tightrope act.
2x Outmanoeuvre can be hellish, with 2 squrrelly ships, and it really helps with AS. But variance bites hard with just 2 guns and no real mods. If the dice all fall in its favour it can be really strong, but that's not a consistent formula
A lot of the time, against the many lists that counter it, it would end up being a matter of ASing around like a loon, picking up a minimal amount of points and just staying ahead by being impossible to hurt, which is not a great deal of fun. As those type of lists became more common, it became more of a drag to fly. Dodgy variance against beef was incredibly dull.
HLC, Juke and Col Det sounds like a good balance of being enjoyable to play with and against, while keeping them dangerous and hard to pin down. It's pretty much the build I was thinking about, if I were to come back to them with moar skillz.
AS, Outmanoeuvre Ryad is a real giggle though. If I run her at all, I can't resist equipping her with those. These days, I prefer to run 1 D with 2 wingmates, but that's been entirely Rex or Vessery lately, they tend to have better damage output for their cost.
Its not as much as a viable squad anymore, but in 1.0 i had a squad with 2 defender's with the Tie/d title, and an agressor.
i called it The Janitors... since they are so... Tie/d
One of my favorite squads in first edition was Soccer Moms with Norra, Shara, and Biggs (later replaced with Ezra).
I was trying to make something similar in Second Edition and came up with Ackbar's Angels (Norra (ARC), Shara, and Miranda).

Too easy
The list name; not necessarily the list itself
Edited by ficklegreendiceYeah i was thinking of the name only when i typed that.
A guy at my local store has been running a Luke/Lando list.
Calls it Land O' Lukes
