Which of these (on this list) should a scientist in SW work with on? Don’t worry I provided a list

By Leia Hourglass, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

On the page below , I have been editing and adding different techs from my internet searches and Wikipedia searches. I know this list is long but I wonder if you could help me finally pick something. Of all the things on this list (including the redlinks), which one is best to explore in Star Wars?
When choosing make sure

a.) It’s existence wouldn’t be logically assumed; it has to take effort and out of the box thinking to create

b.) It doesn’t be a complete game changer for the story that takes away one of established rules.

c.) It isn’t not worth researching.

Acne vaccine is hilarious if your group isn't all that serious about things.

Santa Clause machine or the Star Trek matter replicator. A true replicator doesn't exist, and would be powerful (and a threat).

why your text so big?

I would go with mind uploading or the Whole Brain Emulator. This would be especially interesting in SW as it puts a living sentient into the same position as a theoretically immortal droid. What implications would this have? How would it impact philosophy? Would this require the Force, a'la a holocron? Is this functionally impossible because of the Force?

It'd be a fun question to play around with.
