You have 68 points....

By Bucknife, in X-Wing

1. Poe with nothing.

2. Wedge with R2 and Plasma Torps.

3. Fenn Rau with nothing.

Or...

11 Shields Annie

(60) Anakin Skywalker [BTL-B Y-wing]
(4) R5 Astromech
(3) Hull Upgrade
Points: 67

yes, 67.

Which one do I take and build a squad around?

Lone Wolf Blackout

11... shields? You mean Hull?

68 points?

Also, the ynakin is the least manueverable and most pillowfisted by far. Might as well write "free points, open when convenient" on his hull

Can't a guy get an ion turret!?

Here, fixed:

Anakin Skywalker (Y-Wing) (60)
Ion Cannon Turret (5) = "hey, I can actually DO something!"
R4 Astromech (2) = "hey, I can actually do red maneuvers and barrel-rolls without relying on my ability and spending my force!"

Ship total: 67

A lot of that probably depends on which faction you want to play...

If you’re thinking Scum, try this instead:

4-LOM (49)
Elusive (3)
Advanced Sensors (10)
Qi’ra (2)
Mist Hunter (2)
Tractor Beam (2)
Total: 68

Disclaimer : I’ve yet to actually run a Tractor Beam on my homeboy 4-LOM (I usually just fill the slot with a free Jamming Beam), but either way, I’d put this up against darn near anything. His ability to show up anywhere and everywhere with a defensive reroll and a free Calculate while handing out stress is just punishing . I’m sure he’s not the most OP thing out there, but he’s brutal.

Plated Hull ship ability negates crits unless it's more than one or some other "flipping" like Thane.

Most of the guaranteed crit stuff still go through due to defenders modifying attackvdice before attackers.

Unless it was changed in the timing chart its not full proof. Cause the defender modifies dice and then the attacker does right? If so then things like rerolls, ATC, Marksmanship, Autoblaster, Proton Torpedoes, RAC, Fifth Brother, and more will be able to get around it.

It can help stop the casual crit but its not full proof.

Corran + FCS

Not an I6, but I realize I never mentioned that stipulation.

Corran is a great pick in the 60+ point range, although I personally would probably use R4 instead of FCS.

On a 1 shield ship?

I think you're better off with the droid which lets you change your move.

Bleh, who needs I6.

(51) "Echo" [TIE/ph Phantom]

(6) Outmaneuver

Two Planetary Sentinels!

Take these

Latts Razzi (59)
0-0-0 (5)
Unkar Plutt (2)
BT-1 (2)

FFG, please give the E Wing better native efficiency/Corran some Force/a palp effect for rebels. This is 1 pt more than a naked Vader, 1 pt less than a TIE Defender: the 2 superiority fighters that it was supposed to go head to head with to some degree, but the action bar does not want to. If it's going to lock on the earlier rounds, couldn't it get its green tokens linking to repositions? FFG?

Anakin is still the best Delta 7, but with no config, an I5 with CLT or an I4 with 7B just seems better and cheaper.
