Krennic, Bossk, Shores

Here is my latest list. I'm hoping to give it a test in the next week or so.

The plan is early high Suppression for the opponent. The goal would be turn two play annihilation looms, dumping one suppression on everyone and thanks to Krennics Strict orders pull off 6 of my own Suppression as things activate. The plan would be to have the Mortars close to the Shore Troopers so they can receive their order tokens after issuing orders to Shore Troopers, Krennic removing his and of course the Death Troopers rooms and there's do to entourage.

I run a similar list focused on suppressing actions and breaking units. Also 10 activations, but it runs a single unit of shores, a single mortar, and a pair of sabs with estims instead of a sniper. Sab charges are suppressive area weapons, you can easily dump a ton of supression on swaths of their army if you play aggressively with them.

I run targetting scopes on the shores to take advantage of their free aim token, and comms relay on the DTs to pass their entourage order to the shores to make sure they get the token and the mortar can fire support even on Voacious Ambition or Bossk turns.

I've considered making a small trim to get Hunter for Bossk. If you kill their commander(s), their army just breaks and runs, and Bossk with Hunter is Very Good at killing commanders.

You could also cut a medical droid for an officer upgrade for one of the corps. You get more supression resilience with the courage 2 and good supression control with Inspire, but honestly between Strict Orders and Compel, I don't find myself struggling with suppression even on Annihilation Looms turns.

How have people found using Veers over Krennic, miss out on handing out army wide suppression, a very hand 2 standby tokens and free death troop order but Veers can give out 2 aims a turn and has the handy bombardment.

I've been running a very similar lists to the ones above in our current league cycle. I don't have shore troopers so I run double death, 3 dlt storms, and 2 charge sabs. Bossk with hunter is amazing and taking out that enemy commander is so important. The rest of the army crumbles under the amount of suppression you can put out. I also like hunter or overwatch on the death troopers depending on the day because between them and bossk shooting at a commander in a turn they should go down.

Cool, I am surprised he didn't add in a medic at the cost of a DLT, their value is huge with death troopers when you bring back expensive models.

@DarkTrooperZero The reason why veers is not favored over Krennic is because the Shoretroopers do not need his aim tokens because they get a free one for having an order. The value of each aim token after the first falls off. I still think veers has a lot to bring to the table, but most people are not going to go with both because Aggressive Tactics needs to trigger every turn. This means if you wanted to get the most out of veers you would need two aggressive tactics cards.

Yes Veers with electrobinoculars is a thing now, not really with shore troopers though
