At first, I was dumbfounded and skeptical. I received an email from a mail carrier stating my order of Clone wars Legion from Miniature Market has been shipped. I scanned the email and determined it was not fake. Then I checked my status on Miniature Market's website and they too confirmed it was shipped.

I asked a friend who also ordered his from Miniature Market and confirmed his was shipped.

Anyone else? Because I'm afraid I time traveled to October.

Sounds like someone ignored a hold direction. Not the 1st time ffg stock has had to sit at my flag for "release"

If the shipment is true, then WOOHOO! I can't wait to get my hands on those Replicated Troopers.

Yeah, this definitely sounds like the distributor and Miniature Market ignored a Hold order. It's not the first time this has happened, and won't be the last.

I think I've also heard of Miniature Market overselling their pre-order allotment, resulting in customers waiting for a second allotment before getting their merchandise, well after release.

Edit: The CW core release is quite the farce.

Ouch that sucks for the overselling pre-orders. There's no way to tell if Miniature Market oversells. Though I do like that they display their inventory.

Got my order shipped as well. The question I guess now is how many people will get theirs? Will it be all Minature Market and nothing else?

At least, this isn't as bad as XWing's Wave 4 release where Australia got theirs a whole month early and no points posted.

It will be whoever decides to break ranks and sell it. I kinda get it, I wouldn't want to be paying costs on the storage space for several weeks while ffg gets it's logistics together.

But there is usually the threat of limited/delayed supply of future products with the supplier at stake, although that in itself has always been a weird concept in a niche space like wargaming

Funny. I just checked their website and the core set is still listed as pre-order. Along with all the other CW sets.

Usually, but not always. There could also be considerations in the contract for "undue hardship" or some other thing. So if FFG is asking them to hold on for longer than X amount of time, they may not be beholden.
It's also possible they're working off some older email and haven't seen the recent trials and tribulations.

Does the carrier list the item as actually being shipped or "Awaiting package" when you check the provided tracking number? I've gotten notifications in the past of someone printing out an address label to send product with USPS, but then the product wasn't actually shipped over a week. Worth checking, but if it has actually shipped, good for you!

Very true. I am aware that "toe the line or no more for you" has been a business model of the star wars IP for a long while though

Never insult The Mouse. I do wonder how much pull Miniature Market has in the industry. They are probably one of the top sellers of this niche market.

Good question. Last week, i preordered and chose to pay the extra $2 for Priority Processing. Wonder if that made the difference. If so, best $2 i ever spent.

I was actually about to say this, I too chose priority processing. It seems to have paid itself off this time!

shipped or printed? as pointed out above, if you don't get any shipping updates today, it's probably just had the label printed and theyll have it ready to chuck in the mail the first day they are allowed to.
