A couple of questions about flamers from a new player, about to start his first game:

Flamers don't make BS checks to hit. Does that mean penalties to BS have no effect on them - for example, if firing a flamer while pinned?

Or, is the BS penalty counted as a bonus to the target's agility check to avoid the effects of the flamer?

What if a flamer is used in an off hand, or one handed?

Anything that would normally grant a penalty to BS while using a flamer instead grants a bonus to the targets AG test. And vice versa.
