Did ever a card get "unbanned"?

By mischraum.de, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

When I read comments about unbanning Jaquen, Pyromancer's Cache etc. I ask myself did it ever happen that a card got unbanned? In Game of Thrones? In any other game from FFG? In any card game?

Never in Thrones. And there have been a couple of clear cases where it should have been. Is anyone seriously talking about J'Aquen though? Taht dude shoudl never ever come back.

Actually, Stag Lord is wrong, Alleys and Whispers got unbanned. Granted it has been in the "classic" environment for so long now that most people don't notice, but it is no longer a banned card.

Yes. Alleys and Whispers is the only card that has ever been "unbanned" in Thrones, albeit for the Classic/Legacy format. Consider, though, that there have only been about 10 or 11 cards banned in Thrones ever .

Another thing to keep in mind is that FFG has been known to change or remove errata on cards as the environment changed, too. VED-Davos, for example.

If only gathering storm would be unbanned for classic joust ;)

Jesus - Alleys and Whispers SHOULD have been un-banned in Standard once Winter Block came in. That they finally unbanned it in Classic is a bit of a slap in the face. i had qualms about it ever getting the axe in the first palce and sure woudl like a neutral or Greyjoy version today (not for Lannister though like it originally was).

Could someone post a link to a up to date list of agot ccg cards that are banned, if one exists? Thanks in advance.

FFG did it for you.

go here and go to either the faq's or the tournament rules.

Don't worry, I'm not done asking dumb questions :)

Thanks Lars!

Right, so this reminds me of the time I googled the word "google". It tore a tiny piece of the fabric of reality.. But at least I was able to find google.com

Unfortunately in this instance it didn't work out as well... I checked the Legacy FAQ v7.1 and Tournament Rules pdf was for LCG so I skipped it... and I didn't find the CCG banned from Legacy info except for something called Prince's Loyalist in the FAQ.

page 9 of the tourney rules

its one of those odd documents that is labeled LCG, but also touches on legacy.
