Just checked to see if Barnes and Nobel (B&N) had Wave V in stock and none of the ships are showing on the website. Unsure if that means they're not available in store. Curious if any other major retailer has a hold of it.

Not trying to start a debate here all; this is just more observation. I do think it's nice if the local stores have the opportunity to sell the items first. I totally get that it's key to the game, and miniatures as a whole, if FLGS get to sell these items first.

But there's a lot of players (like me) who don't have FLGS support and play within a pretty small community. I'm fine with waiting for a little bit, but with bigger tourneys still going on to end the year, I hope I can get my hands on the new wave soon so I can practice (also slightly jealous of posts I've seen of the models in hand 😆 ).

B&N’s online inventory tracking isn’t usually very quick to show new waves.

I was on a hunt for BTL-Bs yesterday and B&N had no Wave V content.

Barnes N Noble released last wave early, so maybe FFG is delivering to them late this time

Aside from the shenanigans from Wave 4, B&N tends to have new X-Wing stuff on shelves a few weeks after launch, at least in my experience.

Haven’t seen any W5, but a B&N I went to the other day had all their 1.0 stuff at 50% off. Not sure if that’s common knowledge or if those are just as cheap or cheaper elsewhere.

Alliance can't be bothered to send the stuff they have to their customers without the customers brow-beating them about it.

Didn’t see anything on Friday or over the weekend (went to different B&N stores each time). Perhaps they got a slap on the wrist from FFG!

It makes me a little sad because normally I buy from my FLGS, but thought I might go there this time because I randomly found a 10-year-old gift card and need to be a bit frugal this and next month.

My two FLGS have issues with Alliance. They pre-order stuff then I show up Wednesday after street date and they have to call them to tell them to ship the stuff they ordered. They don't call or just ship it. Every time for both X-wing and Armada.
