Having recently read the starting equipment for a Primaris Psyker and seeing that they get a Force weapon, I decided to look it up and see what it does, but neither myself nor the GM can find it.

Perhaps this is just the weak fleshy eyes failing us or we're just looking in all the wrong places, but my question is this: where is it hidden?

To my knowlege, force weapons are only discussed at length in the IH pg 187. I thought I might have seen a small box discribing them in anouther book, but for the life of me i can't recall which one nor can I locate it now.

If you can swing it some how... A Lathe-forged blade as the basis for a Force Weapon is a nice "upgrade." Best quality; +2 damage and a base 3 penetration instead of 2. Of course, pre-Ascension you're talking something likley to run 8,000-10,000 thrones and be wicked hard to find and acquire (took our TP and Psyker almost 4 months of downtime to get the materials and craft one together). Post-Ascension it'd be something I'd say likely to be "near unique." Then tack on some holy scriptures and blessings to make it sanctified for when you simply must kill those pesky greater dæmons and wot.

So, page 187-188 of IHB for Force Weapons. Page 147 of same book for Lathe Blades. Also; per the Errata v.3.0, realize that Lathe and Mono upgrades are not compatible, and that the Force Staff should also get penetration 2 for being mono. Not that the Errata points that last bit out specifically.
