3 Rebel Large ship

By Church14, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I’m not attached to the admiral or specific upgrades. I’m just looking for a semi-viable entertaining list.

Name: Why not rev2
Faction: Rebel
Commander: Admiral Raddus

Assault: Ion Storm
Defense: Asteroid Tactics
Navigation: Volatile Deposits

MC75 Ordnance Cruiser (100)
• Sabine Wren (4)
• Ordnance Experts (4)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• External Racks (3)
• Assault Proton Torpedoes (5)
• Aspiration (3)
= 126 Points

MC80 Command Cruiser (106)
• Admiral Raddus (26)
• Ezra Bridger (3)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• Leading Shots (4)
• Quad Battery Turrets (5)
• Defiance (5)
= 156 Points

MC80 Star Cruiser (96)
• Gunnery Team (7)
• Auxiliary Shields Team (3)
• Leading Shots (4)
• Mon Karren (8)
= 118 Points

Squadrons:
= 0 Points

Total Points: 400

Any thoughts on clear misses? Should I go for Exodus Fleet for the fun?

Personally 2 MC-75 ordanance + mc 80 assault cruiser with Ackbar on the assault cruiser would be a scary fleet. Mc-75 tear apart anything in torpedo range and all 3 have good broadsides at red dice range.

Which ship is the Raddus drop?

Probably the Ordnance Cruiser? I just made up my own version of this, and I'm actually thinking about playing it next. I made room for the Strategic Advisor on the Command Cruiser, and am trying out a 14 point bid. I think going first could be really important for this list, and 14 should beat everything but an Imperial two-ship.

14 points of bid won't out do a SSD or Interdictor once rebellion in the rim comes out. I have 30+ on both of those fleets. Now both are bidding for second so if you want to go first you are probably fine.

Mon Karren, Weapon Battery Techs and a Blue Crit upgrade. That has the potential to force some uncomfortable choices on anything flight with a DCO.

That would be my first choice also. The Liberty has some advantages with range but is squichy without ECM.

What about three MC80 command with exodus fleet, skilled first officer, ECM, x17 each? Then Garm puts you at 400. I am one MC80 short to actually run this list but would be interesting.

The MC75. Aspiration makes it particularly durable once dropped.

I feel like first is probably critical, but this list keeps feeling it’s way through matches and winning. It never feels like it should. I didn’t consider SAd because you are normally so badly out-activated that it doesn’t matter.

I run 2X home ones often and they wreck face. I don’t have a third to try a 3X MC80, but 2X MC80 and one MC75 might work well enough.

The other 3X large I’ve run is:

MC80 Command Cruiser (106)
• General Rieekan (30)
• Electronic Countermeasures (7)
• Leading Shots (4)
• Home One (7)
= 154 Points

MC80 Battle Cruiser (103)
• Gunnery Team (7)
• Engine Techs (8)
• Leading Shots (4)
= 122 Points

MC80 Battle Cruiser (103)
• Gunnery Team (7)
• Engine Techs (8)
• Leading Shots (4)
= 122 Points

Squadrons:
= 0 Points

Total Points: 398

It does impressive work in a Meta with a lot of small ships
