I've been flying this Resistance list for a few weeks and it's been really fun. I think the strength to this list is there's not extreme obvious target priority, though mostly people go for Jess.

My concern with it is there's a lot of filler points here that I'm wondering if I should slim the other ships down so I can upgrade Jess to Nien. I just played a game on Fly Casual just to get a sense of the mechanics and it seems to work nicely. So here's the original list I've been successful with and the potential new idea:

Cova really loves Leia and pretty much nothing else. So you could exchange everything on Cova for Leia + Heroic, and exchange C3PO and Shield Upgrade for Percpetive Copilot and Pattern Analyzer on Finn. Then drop Spare Parts on Pava.

Yeah, the Leia inclusion is pretty good for Cova. As for Lone Wolf, I'd rather keep Spare Parts on Jess. It's pretty nice she's usually the first target here. I can use it to gain a BB charge back or to dump it if I'm being chased. I've been flying everyone pretty closely to maximize Jess so not sure Lone Wolf is the best option for how I'm flying it.

The problem with this list in general is that Lulo wants freedom, he really doesn't like being in formation especially one as slow as the one that has Cova and Finn.

Also totally forgot about Pattern Analyzer on Finn. I edited that in after you already quoted me. He is the most important piece of Finn as far as Im concerned.

Freeing up Lulo is definitely a problem with list #1 and another advantage for my second list is letting everyone work a little more independently. I'll hop in this thread, thanks.

Finn loves PA and Heroic unadulteratedly. PerCo is nice IF you have the room.

L'ulo obviously also deserves Heroic, and I like Trick Shot then too...but Predator is an excellent budget option!

Nien with Heroic and PA fits in too, and leaves room for Nodin Chavdri with, at minimum, Korr Sella and an R4 - that is an AMAZING coordinator, which is valuable for everyone else in your list. I would round out the list by picking from the following:

Ion Cannon or Autoblasters on Nodin

AdOps and PerCo on Nodin

PerCo on Finn

Replace Predator with Trick Shot on L'ulo

Maaaybe throw some HUs, SUs, and/or ABs on some folks

I like a lot of these suggestions. How about tractor on Nodin? Not confident I can get bullseye enough for autoblaster to be effective so a control element here might come in handy.

Nodin is too low I to make the Tractor worth it imo. AB is just there for the potential damage spike - if you want more consistency than 2 dice, you'll probably want Ion Cannon. Otherwise, I love what you have right there

Nodin being the same I as Finn, there’s potential to pull a ship into R1 of Finn. Or just try and put them into bad position for the following round.

But yeah, as for damage output, AB is probably going to edge out Tractor. Overall though yes, this list fits a lot of what I’ve been successful with in the past. One strong ace-like ship with an assortment of support.
