Krassis Trelix 80pts

By flooze, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Fellow bounty hunters, pirates and in this case, deserters obviously,

I need some brainstorming on krassis Trelix:

I am looking to mod a list I liked a lot, since Ketsu is not hyperspace legal.

Got 80 points to give (maybe up to 88, but let's try to keep him at 80), main reason I take him is the 180° tractor beam possibility.

TL,DR:

Give me your 80 points of krassis, hyperspace legal, with tractor cannon.

Thx! Happy hunting!

Why not just leave him at 70 with only tractor beam? it's hard to know what upgrades heneeds without knowing the rest of the list

Im waiting to see if snapshot is hyperspace legal 😃

Sadly, while you should be able to perform snap shot out the back with Krassis, you won't get the reroll

But i guess that Cluster Missiles and 0-0-0 also work well with Krassis

yepp sadly =( still interesting though, might come gunner effects, that makes it increase in value in the future! Imagen 1.0 tactitian for instance !

Perceptive Copilot is always a great upgrade on a Firespray. Slave One is a nice card that might be handy against swarm-ish lists, and that would bring things to 80 exactly, but S1 could be easily cut.

Replacing Ketsu with Krassis, even when limited to hyperspace, seems super sketch to me, however. Ketsu works so well because she doesn't have to give up her 3/4 dice attack to tractor people, while Krassis does. Ketsu also gets to go early in the engagement phase (and her pilot ability happens before anyone goes), which means both that she can tractor enemies before they shoot, and before the rest of your list shoots at them. At Init 3, it's more likely other ships (yours or your opponent's) have already attacked. For 80-88 points of Firespray, I'd rather take Boba Fett (maybe just Tractor Beam? Slave One is so good, though, and even Qi'ra is quite nice) or Koshka Frost (I'd rather take Perceptive Copilot over 0-0-0 for reliability, maybe fitting Trip somewhere else in the list if possible).

Thx all for the ideas.

That is what I figured out in the meantime. Making some room for a nicely kitted Boba is most likely the best way to go. Sad, would have liked to see some other pilot...

Ion cannon! PerCo is a nice addition, but with Ion Cannon, you can push damage and a bit of potential control

Boba really doesn't need much, IMO. IG-88 D or 0-0-0 or Qi'ra is nice, Slave One is great value, but that's all he needs. Pretty easy to get him in for less than 7 points of upgrades.

I like the Perceptive Copilot. IG is not hyperspace legal unfortunately

PerCo is great. Forgot Hyperspace restriction, but IG is decent-enough for 3 points... Sigh... time to think out a Boba/IG build for Extended... I'm sure it'll be bad, but still...
