11 Day Rule

By Thalandar, in Star Wars: Legion

So the TR on page 5, says a FFG product is legal for use in tournament play 11 days after the release date. I am seeing a lot of people saying the same thing about the new RRG: that the new rules and errata don't take effect until 11 days after the effective date of 9/12/19. Can someone reference this for me? I m not fonding anything about rules and errata following the 11 day rule

If you look at the bottom of page 1 of the new RRG you'll see that date:

VERSION 1.5.1 Effective 09.12.2019

Yeah, the tournament regulations only reference "products". Also note that the 11-day rule only applies to Premier events, which would only be the larger events (usually at conventions and such). RPQs, for example, are Formal events so everything is immediately legal.

Wow, how insightful. Read my post again, you obviously don't understand my question.

How is there any confusion about the date this change goes into effect when they have the date printed on the document?

Sorry, obviously I didn't. But I agree with @steveisbig , why would the document have an "effective" date if that date wouldn't be the one to take it as valid?
I think that the people saying that the new RRG takes effect after 11 days are the ones that should show the evidence of what they're saying.

Thats exactly what i said in my post, show me the documention thats says the 11 day rule applies to rules and errata? Otherwise, as far as I am concerned it takes effect September 12, 2019.

There is no such rule.

The new rules are eff3ctive from next thursday

11 rule applies to physical product. That RRG goes live on the mentioned date.
