FFG Live Legion -- Points Changes being discussed!

By SpiderMana, in Star Wars: Legion

You guys might want to be watching this if you're not watching this.

T-47 is 140 points, weapons dropped as well.
AT-ST is 170. "More in line with the Clone Wars Heavies."

Edited by SpiderMana

As I’ve said in several threads.

@Derrault

This is exciting!

Heavy Laser Canon now has... Range 1-5! :O

Wow, they dropped 35 points on the T-47, isn't that a lot?

The one from X-Wing?

Where are these changes going to be codified? An appendix in the RRG or something?

Would be awesome if they could get the repriced cards in the card pack coming out.

This.

Also, when is it effective?

RRG this Friday

PDF will be out this Friday, take effect some time later. I think November.

Glad my E-Webs can double move now. Now I really want them for the Republic. Not super thrilled about the sheer amount of changes though. Bad precedent.

Tabletop Admiral updated with what we've got so far. Checkbox at the top if you want to use old points still. New points by default.

They indicated that the "effective date" would be the same as official model releases. 11 days from the drop on Sep 6th, I believe.

Can someone post a summary of the changes?

So are we likely to see Dewbacks before this drops? It's not been entirely clear where that's at...

I think it certainly reflects the development team's priorities.

Release schedule> Game balance

This makes me very nervous about the upcoming factions.

How do you mesure range 5 without multiple core set?

Buy a separate movement/range set for $15 or politely ask your opponent to use one of their range sticks.

I've been thinking about that... X-wing deliberately doesn't use epic rulers for that reason presumably (even if I'd like them to so that the design space is opened up).

Measure to range 4, lightly pinch your fingers at the end of the ruler, slide it through them to one more range band.

Or use a tape measure

Punctual as ever!

Could you add the specialist 2s to the Troopers?

Even though it will be a little inconvenient that we'll have to look up points costs, I'd rather do that then not get to use some of the minis I own. Can't wait to try out the T-47!

So:

Leia

3x Tauntauns

2x T-47's with Buzzers and Outer Rim Pilots

3x Min Rebel Troopers

exactly 800...seems legit
