I bet you made a lot of folks clench their exhaust port when they saw your list!

Varied responses. The Ace players (all 4) were confident of victory but unsure how to get there and were wary of accidentally killing a Z when it was too close, but I definitely got better against them as I went through the day - practice helps! The Kihraxz, Seevor, Torkil player groaned out loud - but still tried jousting me.
I'm unlikely to take that list to a tournament again, mostly because the next few will be Hyperspace Trials and only the Z95s are legal (I have considered flying 7 of them), but I'd be happy to run it in casual games.
The worst aspect is the dice-rolling being so critical to the outcome of many of the games. The bombs were essential though and Sol was far better than the Kimogila.

Speaking of Hyperspace, and completely tangental topic... One thing I’ve come to realize with Scum is they have some unusual and thematic pairings. Black Sun in particular currently has just Z-95s, Khiraxxz, and Starvipers, as far as pilots go, and in Hyperspace you are limited to just Starvipers and Z-95s if you wish to do a Black Sun theme list. But here’s the kicker... A mini-ish swarm of Z-95s backed by 1 or 2 powerhouse Starvipers has been a favorite list of mine forever, and tends to work pretty well in v2. Guri being the nightmare she is, is even more ruthless when backed by a brick of expendable Zs. And of course Xizor flies under everyone’s radar when going for Starvipers, but a pile of expendable Zs has always been one of his best pairings.
Or just go Fangs and Starvipers like I tend to, as well. Fenn Rau and Guri are pretty fearsome together.

It's no good suggesting sensible, strong ships/pilots in this thread!

I always wondered how far 6 or 7 Outmaneuver Z's with Cybernetics could go...

If take 5 of them, you can give Ion Missiles to them all, as well. 5 Ion Missile Zs aren’t very scary until they get behind an ace’s firing arc, Ion him with Outmaneuver, and stay behind them shooting for awhile.
I don’t know if it would be tournament worthy, but it would be stupidly hilarious if it worked.
Ion Scyks are more fun.
I've flown 3, along with Seevor and a loaded Palob.
Wrecks aces. Not so good against beefy lists.

I have Ion Scyks packed in my box right now, have for a little while, since it's one of my favorite lists. I used to run four, with Fenn Rau. I'm going to test out Fenn + three + Autoblasters Sunny Bounder.
