FFG Live X-Wing Huge Ship Showcase was Sept 5th, link to the YouTube recording in the first post.

By Hiemfire, in X-Wing

Action choices for wings are independent, and wings move at the initiative of the wing leader. They form up and do their actions after the leader is done.

7th sister can move, boost, focus, then they all fall in.

Confirmation huge ships take two different actions, but can't do the same action more than once, as suspected.

That's a LOT of Calculate...

Comms team had better be like 15 points. Coordinating 3 ships at I8 is CRAZY

I wonder if wingmates can double roll/boost in a sense then. Say wing leader moves, does a barrel roll. Then wingmates form up, and one does another barrel roll. Sure its no longer in formation but that's a lot of lateral movement.

So far it sounds like they can!

Gozanti = 60 points before upgrades, but they want a lot of upgrades generally

CR90 on the stream is 146 before upgrades but with them all is close on to 200

Ow. Hopefully they learned from 1.0 where they just got plain outclassed by fighters.

The wingleader can be Whisper with afterburners and barrel roll and the wing will form on the final position - wherever that is!

2 extra green dice if defending beyond R3

Except from the wing leader upgrades we know, the wingmen all have to be TIE Phantoms anyway, so it's no big deal.

Huge ship bonus attacks can be before or after primaries, in any order

Ya, iirc Agent of the Empire requires the wingleader be a X1 or V1.

Exactly. And the First Order one has to be a Silencer or Special Forces with TIE/ln wingmen. All others (as far as we're aware) have to be made up of all the same ship type.

Cik/Cloaking device shenanigans are not permitted for huge ships

Maybe then an supernatural Kylo would have been a better example. The point was, it can be the craziest movement map (shown below for a single maneuver) and the wing simply forms up.

Who of you asked about huge ship decloaking? xD

supernatural... same same

Somewhere, @Darth Meanie is watching this stream with the same delight as a small child on Christmas eve

Is there a comprehensive read(no video) somewhere?

I did.

It's still going. I'm trying to put everything relevant on here. Sorry I'm breaking it all up it's a little sporadic 😛

•Cikatro Vizago •Cloaking Device

Cik ignores list building limitations when he does his swap (so swapping a Cloaking Device to a large base is legal). It looks like the Huge ships have a special limitation that extends beyond list building, which is fine, but it did need to be cleared up before someone (I.E. me) decided to make a 2.0 C-ROC ram or stealth Jammer. :D

So are we not gonna discuss the dual crit damage possibilities? I friggin LOVE that idea and I no longer care that Huge ship damage cards are on full sized cards :D

Collision damage is one crit for each speed of the huge ship, then small ship player places the ship in the huge ship's rear arc at R0. Afterward, the small ship's opponent can rotate the ship 90°

LIBERATOR CAN DOCK SHIPS SHEATHIPEDE HERE I COME

With Comms team, that's a FREE coordinate of THREE ships, AND a calculate, all BEFORE the ship activates...

...at I7-8!

I love what I see. Far better than the first édition !

Ouch... so collision kills could very well still be real if it's a freight train that catches the fighter.

Not sure I like how far a ship can potentially be moved from it's starting point in the event of a ram.

Yeah that's kinda interesting.

Also just pointing out the CR90 has a 5 straight...

If you're not stressed or ionized, during the end phase, if they're within R1 of the Wing Leader, they can come back into the formation.
