Been refining my lists and my ideas
came up with this.
So, I have put a lot of thought into this. But its all theory
Victor is surprisingly sneaky with his pilot ability,
the escape craft can coordinate and even allow one of the y's to move its turret if necessary.
ion turrets with double tap make for some interesting shenanigans
so hopefully enough, beef and synergies to work together better than it first appears

Scum idea.
It’s not a bad ability on Viktor, but the lack of opportunities make it not worth the points. The only real way is to either tractor yourself (not worth it) or take stealth device, which you’ll likely lose after the first engagement.
For 51 points you can run a Mist Hunter 4-LOM who has a much better and easier way to deal stress. I’d normally recommend running adv sensors with 4-LOM but you have the escape craft who can coordinate.

Talonbane with Predator fits in your list. If your hired guns are handing out ions, you should be able to predict how to get into R1 to throw five dice. It’s an overcosted pilot in my opinion, but the opportunity to use the ability is higher than Viktor.

perhaps he could be substituted out ..although nothing comes to mind as an obvious choice

From me anyway. But the only way to know if it’s worth it is playing games. You can second-guess and rebuild a list for hours, but without a few hands-on games, you won’t know what tweaks are needed and why.
