New Article: RitR Objectives
The campaign objectives in particular sound really fun and unique. Looking forward to getting my copy!
Personally, new objective are always the hardest thing for me to get used to. You don’t know if I have played all the new objectives from CC.
Pilot Defection seems like it gives too much control to first player.

Depends. If you put your three A-wings/Defenders in a triangle behind your fleet and take your 25 free points, that's okay.

It's missed opportunity to add a rebel/imperial distinction for the green objectives though. Many of them fit the rebels as first player and having differing objective would offer a lot of faction identiy.

Unless the first player chooses not to defect. In which case you kept three squadrons behind your ships the whole game for no reason, and first player got first player advantage.
I guess it could be good with Saber/Jendon or Corran/Adar though, so that you could add those three squads to your squad ball and snipe the defector when the time comes.

Well, they did have Show of Force / Hyperlane Raid in CC, but that didn't go over so well. I think I like that both factions can choose.
