droids: suppression and ion

By Tirion, in Star Wars: Legion

if a b1 is shot by an ion weapon and receives an ion token, it would then by default receive a suppression token as well.

would that b1 unit them be actionless on it's next activation assuming it still has these tokens?

No. Suppression does not take away actions from droid troopers.

Suppression also does not provide them cover.

Suppression on droid troopers is solely there for checking panic.

The ion will rob them an action.
