Will the chains my deck has accumulated before the event be applied during the event matches. This has nothing to do with what happens after the event. Do I have a chain-reduced had size during a prime champions round?

Chains that are earned during Chainbound events ONLY apply to Chainbound events. Your deck will have no chains on it during the Prime Championships (nor will it gain any chains from playing in them).
