Surprise Attack...2nd player drops 4 obstacles, or 3?

Objective in question:

Question is what 'then place the remaining obstacles as normal' means. According to the RRG, obstacle placement is...

"Place Obstacles: Starting with the second player, the players take turns choosing and placing..."

Sooo...the 2nd player drops the station and then starts the normal obstacle setup, where they place the first remaining obstacle? In which case, of course, they place obstacles 1, 2 (station and...whatever), 4 and 6, leaving 1st player to only set down 3 and 5?

Or should the objective have read "place obstacles as normal, starting with the second player placing the station at distance 1-5 of the first player's edge"?

Yup, 2nd player puts down the station, and then the next obstacle, then 1st, 2nd, etc.

Huh. Objective seemed pretty good - certainly stapled to the Interdictor - but with a 4/2 obstacle split vs 3/3...well, okay, even better!

Yup, Surprise Attack is going to be a new staple red along with Most Wanted and Adv Gunnery.

The funny thing is...

No. I wasn't.

After all, first I looked at my opponent's objectives.

Then I thought to myself 'what would I rather? To fight near a sun. Fight over a space station. Or be attacked. By 'surprise'.

Then I chose to be surprised attacked.

Doesn't really seem like a 'surprise' if you catch my drift.
