Hello pilots, I want to make a quick question:

Can BB8 be used in a reduced difficulty maneuver??

Leia effect says: After a friendly ships reveals its dial the difficulty of the maneuver is reduced

BB8 effect says: Before you execute a blue maneuver

Both effects seems to activate after the maneuver is reveled and before the maneuver is executed, and i dont know if there are any timing issues

So what do you guys think?

Leia and BB-8 dont interact together.

Leia (rebel) says. "During this phase, each friendly ship reduces the difficulty of its red maneuvers."

So all Leia is doing, is changing Red maneuvers to White maneuvers. They never go blue for BB-8 to trigger from.

I ment Resistance Leia and bb8.

If you reveal a white maneuver and use Leia to make it a blue maneuver, I believe you are good to go

In that case, yes. Leia triggers on reveal, she reduces the difficulty of the revealed maneuver. Then BB-8 triggers before the execution of that maneuver. These are technically different timing windows. Leia always before BB-8.

BB-8 isn't a rebel upgrade. If someone has been using it in T-65s, Rebel Y-Wings or Sheaths in your matches they're cheating.

Leia first then BB-8 or other BB astromech. While the timing sounds the same, the differing reference points (after reveal and before execute) make them entirely different.

For reference ( with added <> designators for the ability timings).

"Activation Phase

The Activation Phase is the third phase of a round. During this phase, each ship ACTIVATES, one at a time, starting with the ship with the lowest initiative and continuing in ascending order. Each ship activates by resolving the following steps in order:

Reveal Dial: The ship's assigned dial is REVEALED by flipping it faceup and then placing it next to its ship card.

<BB-8 happens here> Execute Maneuver: The ship executes the maneuver selected on the revealed dial.

Perform Action: The ship may perform one action."

Awesome, i think is a cool combo to use.

It's two-thirds of the "That's America's Asty" build (Leia, BB Astromech or BB-8, and Ello Asty)

Ello can treat his red Tallon Rolls as white. Leia makes that white maneuver blue. Blue maneuver triggers BB-8, letting Ello "aim" his tallon roll better. Then after performing the maneuver, he's free and clear to perform whatever actions he wishes!

It's kind of ridiculous.
