I just picked up the downed AT-ST today and upon opening it up noticed that the main base was slightly warped so it does not sit flush with my table. I've heard you can correct it with hot water. How hot are we talking? Like faucet hot or boiling hot?
Downed AT-ST warpage
It doesn't need to be boiling, but the bigger the base, the longer and hotter you'll need it. You may want something flat and heavy to sit on it for a while as well
Mine was warped so I tried submerging it in boiling water, reforming it while submerged, then putting it into ice water. In a day or so the warping came back. grrrrrrrr!
Mine was warped when I got it. All I did to fix the problem was set it on a cookie sheet and set it in the backyard in direct sunlight. Within 20 minutes, it was laying flat, and has been since. Of course, this was June/July in Kansas, so your experiences may vary.
