Loving this arc. So sad this is the end. The animation is so spectacular.

I wasn't as captivated as others by the lightsaber fight. It seemed a bit slow to me? The episode is strong enough that I'm planning to watch it again, maybe a second watch I'll think differently.

EDIT: I did watch it again and I think I realize what confused me about it. It was actually motion captured, which changes how it looks compared to other TCW fights (it's apparently the first time they did it with a lightsaber fight in the show).

It is a good fight. I'm just not sure it's my favorite lightsaber fight, though.

Just from seeing that Shattered clip, I was sure that it was about to happen. It was either this episode or the next. It's about to get real fun.

When i was watching it, it is immedialty noticable that the quality of the animation during the duel was well above what the clone wars had shown before. It didnt have that stiff action figure feel to it, the footwork and the movement of the strikes looked so natural it had to be motion capture, then to find out that it was inded motion capture and they got RAY PARK!!!!! to do it? Awesome!

i dont think its the best lightsabre duel ever, but its the best in any of the animated shows and better than a lot of the live action too.

TBH, the Obi-Wan/Maul duel in Rebels is better still.

Really enjoyed this episode.

Cant wait to se the finale, and already on monday.

Btw, an I the only one hoping they would continue this series beyond, but not going back in the clone wars era but rather into the imperial era. I would love to watch "this" series with the bad-batch, Ashoka, Maul, the clones in the early empire help establishing (Imperial) peace and order to the galaxy, the Inquisitors hunting the remaining jedi, and perhaps running into Saw, Jyn, and the other Rebel groups.

There’s a significant gap between the two and you know it. Maybe not Jyn, but for everything else there’s material to cover between the two if they wanted. There is plenty that Rebels didn’t come close to touching that could be interesting.
