Ya know, I will give them props for these teasers and TV spots. They've turned my interest from "Ok, but it'll probably suck" to "I'm actually interested, and it might be good." After the recent SW films, that's a big achievement.

The level of detail the show-runners have placed on this project is phenomenal. The design aesthetic, from the aliens to props to the costume design to practical effects, are clearly a poignant homage to the original trilogy.

This show FEELS like Star Wars, which that is both a warranted sincere compliment and thankful answer to lipped hopes and prayers.

I mean, frog legs don't have a ton of meat, but here we are.

After seeing the first episode, please share your thoughts.

I loved every second of it....

It's a very good western. :P

I have spoken.

Just finished it. Hopefully I can keep this spoiler free.

Started out slow, doing some character and world building. Came off as fan film-y, with random stuff included just because they were in the films, and random "Star Wars noises" scattered throughout. As Polda said, it's a good Western. It picks up in the second half, and ends on an interesting revelation that I really didn't see coming. Overall, I have to admit that I'm shocked how much I enjoyed it. This will be the first live action Disney-era SW production that I thoroughly enjoyed during my first viewing. We'll see where they go from here.

In short, watch it. It's pretty dang good, and a lot better than I expected. Hopefully they can maintain the quality from here on out.

After seeing it, I think I may get the Mel miniatures miniature to proxy with boba Fett rules

im wondering if they will do Mando and Gina Carono’s characters together as is rumoured with Cassian/K2SO? Wouldn’t mis as long as you had the option to run him solo as an operative too.

no spoilers but wow I am all in I enjoyed it and hope they can keep this up for long long time

It looks like everyone enjoyed it so that is good and to throw in a bonus it looks like George Lucas was able to add more change to the original trilogy........ A last parting gift to all his fans.

So far Greedo talks more before he is shot (oh man Han neck move is still so bad looking). Let's see if we can find some more!!

You are referring to the OT movies? Or does Greedo make an appearance in the Mandalorian somehow? We paid for a full year then I accidentally ripped out my speaker's audio jack inside the port on my computer yesterday.... And I can't get it out... So no mandalorian for me until our new fire tv shows up...

Thought the show was solid. Paced fine. Didn't give too much away straight away. Low on exposition, which is good. Tense action scenes, just the right level of humour, probably a few too many easter eggs but not much of an issue. I accidentally spoiled the target bounty for myself...it's an interesting direction. Biggest surprise was the company he kept. Looking forward to the remainder

That sucks and in the OT movies. Greedo speaks right before Han shoots him. Looks like the movies they are using were planned a few years ago, but when TPM did not do well in the re release they scarped them. So far looks like nothing major. Jabba looks a bit better (can't look worse) in 4 and the lightsabers stay blue instead of turning white.

The alterations done to the Disney Plus versions of the Original Trilogy Star Wars were done by George Lucas years ago. They were intended for a 3D theater release that never happened.
