Welcome to pricing at brand new, high demand resorts in Cali. 1k per night for something like this is cheap.

It looks pretty dope. The price being super high makes a lot of sense, because well it's a Disney resort. If I were 7 again this would definitely have been the vacation I would beg my parents for. Adult me doesn't feel too comfortable about dropping that much to hang in a shiny cruise ship tho.

Basically a land locked cruise ship. Sounds fun, if the experience is done well I can see it being worth it.
Guh. How the **** is somebody working minimum wage supposed to afford this?

They aren't going to without saving up for a while.

Carnival Cruises are more affordable cruise liners. More in line for someone working min wage, although they tend to nickle and dime you with add-ons.
Disney Cruises are much higher priced, "one-of-a-kind" experience type deals and min wage workers are not really their target demographic.
Even the cruises that are just role-playing as cruises, like this one.
Putting a ruler to my computer screen...
Falcon is 8mm in the scale-section, CR90 is 29mm. Ratio of Falcon to CR90: 29/8 = 3.625. Based on official numbers of 150 meters and 34.75 meters for the Tantive IV and Millennium Falcon, we'd see about 4.317 as the ratio. Fudging things a bit: 4 Falcons = 1 CR-90.
Falcon Model is 31mm, Halcyon model is 235mm. Halcyon is about 7.833 Falcons long. So Halcyon looks around twice the size of the Tantive IV, probably a little too big for X-Wing, even with the sliding scale for Epic.
The pricing I heard was around $3500 per room, that can house up to five. 3 day, 2 night all inclusive, totally immersive “cruise/play”. During the event the ship is attacked by the First Order and the guests help to coordinate the defense. At one point Kyle Ren is leading the attack and the resort is rigged to allow him to force collapse a section of ceiling and there are slide walks at strategic locations allowing him to force pull certain cast members toward him.
The whole thing described as cruise crossed with how to host a murder crossed with Star Wars.

nope. and its a multiday "trip", so likely a 3 day minimum booking. Fun is for the rich now. It also appears you need to buy tickets to the park and food in addition to the hotel room, so $4000 for a 3 day stay may be the going rate

And a two night minimum.
After taxes and resort fees a two night, three day stay will run over $2,400.00
And that does not include the price of the amusement park itself. 🤦🏻♂️

What is more interesting to me - Halcyon is the name of a Corellian Jedi, who was supposed to be Corran Horn's grandfather (according to plot line of the great book "I, Jedi"). In that book, Corran takes the name of Halcyon in order to be undercover, while studying in Luke's jedi academy on Yavin 4.
It's a nice nod to Legends/Expanded Universe.
Here it is: Nejaa Halcyon

I really don't want to board the anti-disney train but, holy ****.
First Galaxy's Edge is basically an open air mall with not a lot to do.
Then this? Come on, Disney. I should not have to pay through the nose for a proper Star Wars experience.
****, I'm not the kind of person who toots Lucas' horn, but... This is definitely not something he'd have wanted. Not this way- not like this.
Very pretty ship, very ugly pricing.
Currently the leaked pricing is $3,300 per person for the two night stay, with there being an option for$7,200 for five over the same period in the same cabin. It is also worth noting that this suspected pricing is the STARTING price for the basic room so 'hotel fees' including storing your car for the length of the stay and paying the valet to park it and bring it back to you will likely add onto it.

Its more akin to a two night stay. So it will be a you get there at 3 PM and stay the night, have a full day there, and then are expected to leave around 11 AM the next day to give the cleaning staff time to prepare the rooms for the next round of guests.
If this is the actual pricing that Disney goes with then it will easily be the most expensive place you stay at on property, by a notable extent.
I would assume the immersive experience thru a 2 day time lapse is not very doable on a large scale and probably quite high in operating costs, therefore the prices.
If you look at the number of other high-end experiences Disney has been adding, the price is no surprise.
I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here until we see what this really is and how much it costs. I think this will truly be for a certain type of fan who is into cosplay and/or wants an immersive experience. (And also for kids to be in awe.) This sounds a whole level up from their current cruises like, say, the Marvel cruise, but I suspect it may end up being more like that where there will be a number of “shows” for the whole group and then a lot of side activities and meet-and-greet.
As an adult, you still might end up finding this fairly lame, since they’ll have to gear this down for kids, but again, I’ll take a wait and see.

For that kind of money, you could spend 10 days in Europe or some other country and give your kids a view of something that might help them see the world in a better light.
I'm all for spending for experiences, but this seems more like feeding corporate Hollywood for a weekend of smoke and mirrors.
Also, none of this factors in travel, which will likely be significant, as well.
