Andrew Navaro Q&A
thanks, i love how all the Imperial assault questions, are in the double digits in likes.
Will be interesting to see which, if any, IA questions actually get asked.
The "draw from these questions during the livestream" to me means; "We will pre-read all of them, filter out the ones we don't like, and only ask softball questions we like the answers to".
Prove me wrong FFG!

Right?
I feel like they're kind of hard to ignore at this point, but we'll see.
Regardless, the outpouring of love that IA has is truly impressive. Keep it going, guys!
Yes! For everyone who sees this and hasn't done so already, go through all the pages and like every IA post you see. Add your own questions if you have them. Quote people and just add a "hear hear!" Let's get an answer out of this.
Don't forget to login to the livestream next Friday, too. Voice our concerns in the chat, in case they snub us of our questions in the forums.
Last chance to go in and like posts in the other forum page and maybe get our voice heard. Hope to see you guys there tomorrow.
I won't be able to tune in.
Can someone please post a summary after for me (and others in my predicament)?
Thanks Immensely

nothing sofar.
Andrew said that it's no longer viable for them to release any more physical content due to 'business reasons' (most probably the deal with Hasbro but he didn't go into details). He said this is also the reason they can't include Imperial Assault conversion cards with Legion products.
He stated he hoped people had enjoyed the stories that Imperial Assault had told and that it was now a completed game line.
(most probably the deal with Hasbro but he didn't go into details) well overflow of product, in way killed it in some stores just from the store place.

Later in the Q&A, Andrew was asked if FFG will reprint Imperial Assault materials in the future. "Not likely" was his response.

He actually said it wasn't up to him - but he hoped so.

Glad I ordered the last wave of figures when I did.
Oh well. It was a good run. At least we know for sure.
Partially Hasbro but the board game question seems unlikely because Outer Rim and Rebellion exists.
More likely thrown under the bus to sell Legion rubbish.
Expect all remaining IA stock prices to go through the roof.
Thanks for nothing FFG.
This, Netrunner and Battlestar all lost this year. I'm getting a bit disillusioned with them at the moment.....
....it'll probably pass.
I'm happy I got everything (except the evil droids from Aphra). It is sad that one or two things didn't get in before it ended, but there is a huge amount of content. Also, the consistent insertion of the word "physical" into "physical content" means that we'll hopefully get a some more raid mode and maybe campaigns (at least Heart of the Empire).
I'm not on board with any bitterness towards FFG over IA. In the business world, companies can't always reveal everything.
The fact Andrew was very quick to state that there were business reasons why conversion cards couldn't be included with Legion products seems to suggest it's mostly to do with the board game aspect though, as he didn't hesitate to say whether he thought it might be possible or not or whether he thought it would be a good idea. He immediately stated there were business reasons why it was not possible.
About the only avenue left that would provide hope for IA would be if FFG made digital expansions and sold those through the app. We've got lots of tiles, and many characters (even though we're missing some key figures). Then we, as fans, could use Legion figures or generic tokens to represent anything we wanted.
I'm guessing that it was a combination of Hasbro and Legion that killed IA. I mean, you can sell multiple units of whichever expansion to Legion players, but you're probably only going to sell one to any particular IA group . That hurts when it comes time to evaluate where your resources are allocated. I can't say I'm surprised, but I'm still disappointed by IA's (physical) passing.
The part that really bothers me is that we never got an Endor box and all the things that would come with it. HotE was good, and ToL was fine, but I'd trade them both for a proper Endor expansion and the last handful of iconic and screen time characters we don't have.
yup, Endor would have been good. Yoda, Ewoks, 4LOM and Zuckuss... then done. Feels a bit unfinished, although I probably would have felt there was still more missing if they had done Endor...
I wish they'd just say "sure, whatever, IACP is 'official', have fun with it" just to give some more legitimacy and support. Oh well. I'll keep voting on what I like and don't like.
So what about app content? Is new campaign probable?
Maybe a HotE campaign? I don't want to get my hopes up though. I feel dumb for holding out hope as it is.
Will prices go up? Should I get everything I don't have yet?
I Think app-content will come
He only mentioned physical content.
I just hope they keep reprinting stuff for now - not got everything yet.
I asked several times about a community editor for the app and a community hub but it was never asked.

I think it would a hard sell for Disney/LFL when there are not even any new products planned, not to mention no return on investment for FFG.
