Hmm... looking at droids don't really want anything else out of the Separatist but the droids to intrigue me. A number of different things using the Buzz driods in concert with the Ions Should make them fairly nasty... also locks for double mods and Kraken around to keep Calcs flowing as long as possible.

I'd probably call Kraken/32C redundant, but I guess that's just another term for consistent. I kinda think that with DRK-1 probes, I'd rather swap out for DBS-404 and blast the stuffing out of someone you've hit with Ion weapons (maybe with 6-dice Advanced Proton Torpedoes?), or swap for DFS-311 to sit on a rock and hand out a single calculate, plus an extra Separatist Drone.

Eh, probably doesn't make too big a difference, and it's good to explore the factions, get a feel for how they behave.

I'd launch the probes and Buzzers on turn 1.

Swarm all four remotes toward them just out of range 3 of your flight?

I'm not sure how the speeds correlate between your probe and squad to grab those locks for 1st engage, but you'll have to make sure your buzzers stay relevant as well and plink shields off your main targets.

Sounds like a fun challenge.

Buzz Droids don't move unless an opponent's ship overlaps or moves through them.

Also, Probe Droids move speed 3 when launched (I'm assuming they're launched 'forward' most of the time) then a speed 2 move each turn after.

Which means the turn you launch them they effectively get a speed 5 move, but after that they're probably moving slower (or at least no faster) than the fighters. Probes 'out front' are a cheap way to lock higher initiative targets, but you actually need to send in the probes a full turn ahead of your droids to get the calculate/lock combination.

DBS-404 with Advanced Proton Torpedoes and Probe Droids makes a certain degree of sense; setting up a lock before a high-speed attack run means (in theory) getting a range 1 shot of egregious pain with combined calculate/lock

So curious if I was to keep 32c but went for a different Tactical Relay which would you suggest?

I'd probably stick with Kraken. TA-175 can be nice, but I'm not sure I'd go for it in a (relatively) lower ship-count list with Init 3 rather than Init 1 ships... Nothing more awkward than attacking first with a TA-165 list.
