Dewbacle delays Dewbacks

Absolutely. I want to see someone take away a crate of supplies after my Dewback camps on it.

They need to release a new set of objectives where creature and emplacement troopers are the only ones who can claim. And then one where vehicles trump foot soldiers in their claim ability.

then if you don't bring a non required unit you can't win. I think the contesting idea is a good one

I don't think I could possibly exaggerate how bad of an idea that would be.

I agree. GW has this with many of their scenarios. It forces you to field armies and take units that you might just not like or might not want to have to buy in order to have a chance at winning games. That can be very off putting to many players. I'm fond of the idea I gave earlier because I've seen it in use and seen that it works. I also saw the idea of units that cant claim be able to contest in use. It also works. The two combined really even the board and work well together.

I for one am very interested in seeing how an FD cannon would claim any objectives at all. 🤔

Hint: Advanced positions. Scout 1 with a Large base is a lot of movement

Without strike teams and six or nearly six Z6/DL19's, you don't really have a chance at winning now. If your opponent takes them.

Not really. Tauntaun meta has changed this a lot (all hail our lords and saviors Tauntauns) because Corps and Strike teams have such a hard time dealing with them that it leans the spectrum away from raw quantity and more into quality.

Oh good. Cause this is my current army list if I ever get to play rebels again.

Rebel Commander w/ Esteemed Leader

Rebel Commander

2x Rebel Troopers w/ Z-6 Trooper

Rebel Veterans w/ 2-1B and CM Trooper

Rebel Veterans w/ Comms Tech, HQ Uplink, and CM Trooper

2x MkII Blaster w/ Comms Relay

3x Tauntaun Riders w/ Endurance

Ran something similar (Leia + Sabine over generic commander and Z6 squads and Tenacity over Endurance on Tauntauns) and did fine into corps and sniper spam. Also ran T-47 w/ triple Tauntauns, worked well, no complaints

Those sound like the most powerful command cards ever.

Glad I could rankle some of the elite.

My point is right now, the scenarios are all a variation of the same. FFG keeps releasing alternative figures (vehicles, ion gun, creatures, etc) that will never get used according to the internet posters. My position is to change the type of scenarios to favor someone taking something besides max corps and snipers. I frankly don't give 2 shakes about what's competitive, but I would like a balanced game that I don't have to self-balance everytime I actually find someone new to play.

You still get to select scenarios and remove scenario cards at the beginning of the game so if there was just one card that favored something besides troopers or gave a boost to vehicles for example, then you could still remove it at the beginning if you didn't want to play that one.

Would be nice to have an objective similar to Intercept The Transmissions where instead of # of units within range of a transmitter, it uses the total if unit"s base cost. That way expensive durable units matter at least as much as unit spam, and gives underused vehicles more value.

Battle droids are shipping; where are my bloody dewbacks FFG?!

I hear Darklighter's Used Bantha and Dewback Emporium on Tatooine is running a sale. Have you checked with them?

I can't wait to run my army of battle droids without a commander, I think the dewbacks ate Greivous and that's why the base size is oversized

This is an interesting idea. I'd like to play test and see how it goes.

We need battlefield conditions or commands that severly disadvantage high activation lists for a turn or 3 in addition to this. Would certainly mix up the meta if it wasn't overbaked

Shouldn't the last one read: Standing Tauntauns?

All dewbacks sold in Brazil came with the wrong base!
even with the problem flagged since August.

😒
