Does anybody know either when FFG will get the card sleeves for RuneWars (the green and yellow) in stock, or another suitable replacement?
Card Sleeves?
Check with Mayday Games. Their sleeves are cheaper anyway. The US Mini sleeves they carry are just fine; make sure you get the orange "Chimera" sleeves (not the purple "standard" sleeves).
My FLGS, Madness Comics and Games in Plano, Texas, carries the FFG sleeves. Perhaps one of your local stores does too?

ffg have mini clear sleves these are perfect.... i got 4 packs from my local game shop.... they might be a bit expensive but the cost is worth it if you want to preserve you're cards.... i'll finish on this i use to play alot of mtg.. (magic the gathering) and if you use sleves you're cards will be kept in mint condition even if you ripple shuffle...
I'll second the recommendation for the Mayday sleeves, they fit well enough and are half as expensive as FFG's sleeves.
You'd need the Chimera regular size sleeves for the larger cards and the Mini-USA for the smaller.
I admit, though, I've been considering getting the FFG sleeves for the Fate cards. Not because the Mayday cards don't work fine (they do), but the Fate cards get shuffled A LOT, and I've heard that the FFG version may be a little more condusive to that heavy usage.
But the shuffling amount of the other cards in the game isn't enough for me to warrant paying extra for those. Even the Fate cards is just a consideration, and I'm not sure I'll go through with it.

True, I forgot about those; when I ordered my sleeves originally they didn't have the Premium type.
I have a bunch of FFG games. I got sleeves for Rune Wars and Arkham Horror. It seems those two games get the most play time. With RuneWars, if you want to be selective on whch cards get sleeves, besides the fae deck, Orders and Tactics seems to constantly be in people grubby beer soaked hands at my house.
If i buy the Orange Chimera and the mini USA will those two be enough to cover all the cards that come with the game? Do the US minis fit for the Fate cards?

If you are buying from FFG, you will need 2 packs of the US Standard sleeves and 4 packs of the USA Minis.
If you are buying from Mayday, you will only need 1 pack of chimaera and 2 packs of US mini.
There are 56 "big" cards and 168 "small" cards. FFG's packs only have 50 sleeves in them.
And yes, the Fate Cards fit in the US mini sleeves.
