Playing around with the idea of taking Y-wings and B-wings to the next tournament.
Here's what I came up with:

The idea is to maximise the chance of lining up a bullseye on the b's by Ionizing the opponent to death.
Also, very tanky list, which, considering how bad i sometimes fly, might be useful.
Thoughts?

I like the concept of this list. The biggest struggle you will run into will be Aces. You have lots of low intuitive ships here that will have a tough time with some of the aces getting in behind you. The Y-wings will still be able to shoot Ion out the rear while you are being chased but that's about it unless they keep their distance. I would recommend giving the y-wings some bombs to discourage chasing at range 3 and to force them to either eat a bomb or change directions to control their movements.

Marksmanship might be a questionable choice on the B-Wings. On those occasions you do line up a bullseye you have to choose between using the HLC or marksmanship since they're not compatible. Dropping down to Blues will free up points to swap all your hull upgrades to shield upgrades. And I agree that some proton bombs or even seismic charges will do wonders on the Y-Wings.

Any list that's not Aces is at a disadvantage against Ace play, at least when it comes to positioning. It's all about how you approach it. If you can spread out your arcs and catch one trying to come in at the wrong time, the rest of the list can jump on top of it next turn.

But I do like your point about the bombs, probably a better investment than the HLCs on the B-Wings.
