I would replace the HLC with a shield upgrade.

But, what about double cannons?

Jamming Beam is free if you want double cannons.

Actually, I might suggest Tractor Beams.

Tractor Beam and Heavy Laser Cannon not only reduces a target's agility, it lets you sacrifice one primary shot from someone who doesn't have a bullseye shot to tow the target into the bullseye arc of another ship. A 4-dice attack against a -1 agility target is often better than two 3-dice attacks, not to mention shots from the other two ships.

I like the idea of quad b Wings with autoblasters but to really maximise the effectiveness of the autblasters I think Gavin Darklighter along side 3 b Wings could be very effective

Gavin Darklighter (61)
Crack Shot (1)

Ship total: 62 Half Points: 31 Threshold: 3

Blade Squadron Veteran (43)
Marksmanship (1)
Autoblasters (2)
Jamming Beam (0)

Ship total: 46 Half Points: 23 Threshold: 4

Blade Squadron Veteran (43)
Marksmanship (1)
Autoblasters (2)
Jamming Beam (0)

Ship total: 46 Half Points: 23 Threshold: 4

Blade Squadron Veteran (43)
Marksmanship (1)
Autoblasters (2)
Jamming Beam (0)

Ship total: 46 Half Points: 23 Threshold: 4

Total: 200

I'd go MMS/Autoblasters/Shield if going with Autoblasters. It's not 4 B-Wings, but 3x B-Wings with Gavin Darklighter might make sense as an Autoblasters list. E-Wings are decent-enough, and that's some scary crit-pushing threats. But... B-Wings aren't fast, and ships which aren't fast aren't great at flanking and pincer-ing, IMHO.

For HLC... I half want to say Tractor Beam... but I really have to just say Hull Upgrade.

But actually... I think I'd go Selfless/Shield. Boring, but really hard to bring down in a timely fashion.

I'm not actually a believer in autoblaster on B-Wings. They have a three dice attack naturally. The only advantage would be for out of arc shots, hoping to float a critical through. You're banking a lot on getting those bullseye attacks (Marksmanship,) out of arc. You might be that good, but with so many repositioning aces you're not likely to get much value for those upgrades. I'd drop the autoblasters, and yeah, I agree with @Magnus Grendel , tractor beams make better trades.

Agreed.

If not running Bwing aces, keep them light a cheap. Put something else on the field that is a juicer target and watch the Bwings shine. (Good ol’ hammer-n-anvil trick)

I would drop HLC for FCS in the OP Bwings.

Doesn't HLC negate Marksmanship?

Yep.
