Oh man. What if the TIE Silencer "Rush" in the upcoming pilots pack had essentially that ability: able to use 2-speed boosts and barrel rolls instead of 1-speed? That'd be SWEET, even if mid-level (3 or 4) initiative.

Two speed boost and barrel roll would be too much, but 2 speed boost would be interesting. Still might be a bit strong, someone should play test it. If it's too strong, make it only usable on the straight boost.

I'd like to see Zeta Ace as an SF pilot instead of a FO pilot. Or both.

Tarn is very Lt. Bastion-y right now. Make his ability an action (perform a lock) so he can't do it while stressed, and have the limitation that he cannot do it if he is in the attackers bullseye or that they must be in his front V arc to get it.

Hobbie could be straight over as you said, but honestly, even if Targeting Astromech made it's way into 2nd Edition, I don't think it'd be bad, as long as the astromech was limited to maybe 2 charges.

That's definitely a good thought. He needs something to reign him in, but I want to see him back. Perhaps Mimicked takes the opponent's initiative for activation while Mirrored takes the opponent's initiative for engagement?

I'd like his ability to be changed to "if you are in the enemies rear arc, you may add an eyeball result, or if the eney is in bullseye you may add a hit result" instead of the additional die.

Limit him to not being able to modify eyeball results while he defends. Hurts Jedi and disallows rerolls on eyeballs, but still allows modifying blanks via Optics, Locks, etc.

I want Lt. Lorrir, but without the stress part of his ability (he would get stress as normal with ATs). That made him far too useless in practice. Make him I3 or 4 and he wouldn't be too OP even with ATs.

That kind of makes sense. Dark Curse is, if I remember right, all, supposed to be the "I can't shake him!" TIE fighter, so an ability which limits the value of force charge would make sense.

Probably to much, but it's fun to dream about something kinda nutty for a few minute...

Or maybe make it charge based... spend the one recurring charge to use the 2-length, so you couldn't do two long move actions.

Fits the callsign better than 2 of the other edgelords (Blackout and Recoil). If he's I3, Intimidation on him would be an insane way to mess with the opponent via mindgames. If I4, you've got yourself a Fanatical "pocket" (no such thing on a chassis as good as a Silencer, a la Defender) ace that can hunt down Mace, beef, TIE swarms, and filler. You'll need a strong reason not to take primed thrusters or pattern analyzer on him.

No, I don’t think automatic damage should come back in large quantities, and it would be best for Ten numbs old ability to stay dead. Without knowing Gina moonsongs or the stabilized S-foils abilities, I would like to see Keyan receive either something dealing with defense (stress to gain an evade token or roll an extra defense die) or something crazy like “after performing a red maneuver, you may spend a stress to rotate up to 180 degrees. If you do, gain a weapons disabled token. While you have a weapons disabled token , you may perform primary attacks at range 1.” Alternatively make his ability do something cannons. Even just give him linked battery.

Nera i think could keep her old ability, but she would have to be Max ps 2, and cost probably the same as Ten Numb, and rather than update her ability I’m actually in favor of tossing it for something new. I would like to see her at I-3/4 with a Sinker like ability (since she was dagger squadron leader when she flew with the rebellion), maybe give friendly ships with stress tokens outside of her firing arc a focus or reroll or something.

Agreed. The only way I would say to bring Ten's ability back would be to restrict it to bullseye that way it is harder to make it trigger, and it would be somewhat similar to Autoblaster. The pilot could not have a pilot talent though, since Marksmanship would be stapled to it otherwise. Another option is to do it like Autoblaster, and simply make it where one crit cannot be cancelled if you are out of arc.

For Nera, I actually really like her old ability. I'm hesitant to add more mass passive rerolls and the like into the game. Not in her arc is 270 degrees of passives mods, which is worse than Drea. Perhaps dial it in to just her bullseye.
