So as the title says i am working on a customer commander: just looking for feedback

3R range: 2-unlimited
Cumbersome, High Velocity

Pip 1: Ballistic Shield: units effect: Riv'ishia. During Riv'ishia activation place a marker down in front of Riv'ishia. Riv'ishia can't preform any actions during their turn. All units units within range 1 of the marker gain shield 3 and cover 2 until end of the turn.

Pip 2: Rally the Troops: units effect: 2 Corps Units. Riv'ishia gains inspire 2 and spotter 2 untill the end of his activation.

Pip 3: Orbital Bombardment. units effect: Riv'ishia. At the end of Riv'ishia activation he may perform an attack against 2 targest using the following weapon: range 4+ 2 black immune: Deflect

What model were you planning on using to represent this commander? I'm curious. Plus, I always love seeing homebrew stuff people made for games I like. Keeps things fresh! I don't know enough of the rules to say for sure, but I like them! I'd play you.

havent got the model yet as i need a homebrew model base off the guy this is off from. this character was my SWTOR sniper.

I like the idea! But first thing that pops up is 4 health, 6+ save. Combined with cumbersome he'll get out one shot (if even) before getting sniped down. That might be really frustrating. In a halfway serious game I would never take him, not even for 100 points. If the intention for him is to not move most of the time, he needs a way to stay alive.

Also he screams "infiltrate" or at least scout 2.

Not sure on the RRR ranged. We haven't had any range 4 leaders yet, and for rebels the best weapon at range 3 has been Jyn at BBW with her sniper configuration weapon.

I think they make the leaders have short range to prevent them from being able to do exactly what this figure does and that is have meaningful combat at range while sitting in relative safety.

As it stands the unit is a Mary Sue in that it has the best or is tied for the best range, best pierce, best sharpshooter, best dice pool, of any ranged commander in the game.

He is equal to Vaders ranged saber throw with 3 red

He is as good a sharpshooter as Boba and Leia

His weapon has as good a pierce as Han and Luke's heavy blaster which to date is the most powerful pierce in the game

The Heroes in this game are good at making shots that will consistently do one damage into heavy cover or some like Han or can do 2 dmg consistently into light cover. The reason for this is that you never see.both pierce 2 and sharpshooter 2

These heroes are all also mitigated with having range 2 limits those with range 3 (Boba , Veers and Jyn are only rolling.black or white dice at this range)

So this guy has the ability to give out 2 unmitigatable damage per shot into light or heavy cover (note that so far only Han and Luke thus far can do this but only into light cover at range 2) and has a good chance I at least forcing a save for the third dmg. This makes it possible for him to take out any other Hero except Boba, Luke,Sabine or Vader in two turns. (Staring on turn 1)

Also able to give himself light cover on turn 1 that stays there if he doesn't move (which given his weapon, why would you need to.

Sorry to say this is way too powerful it combines the best stats of every ranged commanders ranged attack, and puts it on a sniper base with disadvantages that mean nothing to him. This makes him a better hero Hunter than Boba Fett.

I'd put his dice at RW sharpshooter 1 , pierce 1 to put him in line with other snipers but more consistently doing that one DMG without the aim. Also have him as operative. Just give the same shield as Sabine (even id say it's too powerful at that)

Just a thought but 1 would move the pierce to one of his weapons instead of on the unit himself I dont think we have seen a character yet that has had pierce as one of there keywords, pierce has always been a weapon keyword and been put under the particular weapon that has pierce.
