SSD + Hardened Bulkheads

By M_Krakatoa, in Star Wars: Armada

Forgive me if this has been asked before I could not find an answer. Has FFG approached the wording or updated certain upgrade cards as they pair with Huge ships? I know that all upgrades that fit on large ships may not be appropriate but certainly things that thematically fit like hardened bulkheads may receive some sort of errata change for huge ships. Most fleet builders still allow for this pairing and I was curious if I had missed a ruling by FFG or if it was just a non-fixed bug.

There is no intent to let things currently limited to Large ships apply to Huge. No errata, no change.

Yes they approached the wording. No they ruled huge ships as their own class and not related to large and so do not benefit from cards that specify large class.

You might have missed this thread, ffg specified in this twitch about the huge ship rules :) you can also see my comment on April 3 in this thread

Edit: hmm can't seem to see the broadcast now

Because I don’t like being told I “have” to only use one commander. I’d rather use my favourite one.

"Sir, there's a Filthy Casual trying to escape the planet's surface!"
"Good... our first catch of the day!"

So, what do you have to say about gencon?

That's not the question to ask him.

By his Own admittance, the question to ask him should be "Why are you Still Here ?" :D (You're welcome, of course. Its just against your own statement :) )

You broke a promise, man. Its like... You don't love me after all...

Motti works...

If you are solo running a sector fleet game.

Then all of your other ships get the bonus.

Jerjerrod isn't the only solution to the Issue with the Navigation Chart of the Star Dreadnought Prototype. I mean, he feels like it now for a lot of people who are deathly afraid of Slicer Tools and such like that. But your shields will go down, and taking hits on them aren't always the best reason just to turn .

Upcoming, "Take Evasive Action!" is going to find a way onto a lot of Star Dreadnought Command Prototypes, since you may feel that you've always got a token of sorts to be prepped and ready to use it. And that is also freeing up your dials for other things... In some ways, I/I with a Nav Dial might feel more useful to you than II/- . Its all in how the place sets up with its Obstacles and Enemy Ships.

And then changes. When someone Grav Shifts them.

And then Changes again, when someone Ezra's one...

I feel that We've got just enough time to get used to flying Star Dreadnought Prototypes before the game upends again :)

Tarkin with Executor would be my personal go to... especially for large scale games.

Piett and Executor work just fine. Dial a Nav first turn, take 2 nav tokens. Now you have 2 Nav commands to use whenever you want the rest of the game. Way cheaper than Tarkin.

Konstantin wins Motti here.

To be honest I think you can get more from Motti than from Konstantin in a SSD list given the points available for stuff that actually the command do things on.

But both are playable at least.

Exactly!!! Who said my SSD needs to turn ?

Turning is for noobs.

Honestly, you don't need Hardened Bulkheads.

Eclipse already makes it worse for the Other Guy.

The deployment game time is going to lengthen :D
