Epic demo on the 22nd.

It says the demo is a free-for-all multiplayer battle (from the Epic Battles expansion). Sounds like it won't be what we've traditionally thought of as Epic, but should be cool!

Huge ships have been separated from Epic. They are going to be legal to use in 200 v. 200 casual X-Wing games as well as Epic Battles (depending on the Scenario being used for the game I think). Articles for reference:

I'm pretty sure just about everyone knows that at this point. It's beginning to sound pedantic.

It's still true that a multiplayer free-for-all is substantially different from what Epic looked like in 1st edition, which is what the previous poster said. I'm very excited for the changes and can't wait to see more of what they look like!

Yes, I did, and no I don't have him blocked. He just responded and said he already knows as well. I've just been seeing a lot of over-correction of terminology lately. It's not that big a deal; even the devs still mix it up. How many people still call initiative "pilot skill" or call first player "initiative?"

Yeah, I was watching the Gold Squadron stream today, and when a stressed Whisper took an evade action from decloaking, the chatroom lost their minds. It was scary. People are so quick to point out others' mistakes.

(I do recognize the irony of my statement because I, myself, am pointing out the flaws of others, and I apologize. I just want us to have a little more patience and understanding.)

I’m hoping we get a little more than just “oh look multiplayer version of standard.” Even if they are demoing the multiplayer scrum but show us some other cards or formats.

I also hope we get at least one or two huge ships among the lists to see how they act differently in 2.0

Joking aside, probably not possible. Though I could see giving a huge ship a tractor token as a way to allow a small ship to boost towards it while the huge ship is the one left with the -1 agi.
